Ada May Bush

     Ada May Bush, 86, a longtime resident of The Dalles, died at a care facility in Maupin on Tuesday, March 9, 2010.
     She was born in Camas, Wash., on July 25, 1923, the oldest of two children to Willie and Bertha M. (Ogle) Kimbell. She grew up in Camas, where she attended school.
     She married Francis William Bush in Camas on Dec. 21, 1940. In 1948 they moved from Camas to The Dalles. She was a homemaker and enjoyed square dancing and needlepoint.
     She is survived by her nephew, Robert Kimbell and his wife Julie; her great niece, Lilly Kimbell; her cousins, Nancy, Rick, Susie and Linda; and her dear friend, Shannon Tatom and her children, Emma and Justin.
     She was preceded in death by her husband Francis in 1994, her parents and one brother.
     Viewing will be held on Saturday, March 20 at 9 a.m. though the service at 1 p.m. at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home.
