Earth Day clean-up

CLEAN-UP: An Earth Day clean-up of the land surrounding the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center and Museum grounds is planned Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m. to noon. The event will help prevent fire hazard by cleaning up dead vegetative materials and trimming back the abundant growth of trees and shrubs on land that has been restored to native vegetation and is an exhibit in itself with over 90 species of wildflowers. Bring leather gloves, trimmers, loppers and hand clippers. Lunch is provided for volunteers who stay the morning (RSVP required).
