Bring the whole family and head to The Dalles for the 38th Annual Northwest Cherry Festival. A longtime favorite among locals and visitors alike, the festival is set in the spectacular Columbia River Gorge and showcases The Dalles’ deep agricultural heritage. The Northwest Cherry Festival takes place in downtown The Dalles from Friday, April 21 through Sunday, April 23, 2017. The 2017 theme: “Once Upon a Cherry.”

The three action-packed days include numerous family-friendly events, including the Gorge’s largest parade – featuring the Cherry Festival Royalty with King Bing and Queen Anne, who are crowned that morning – a classic car show, a lip sync contest and great local music. There’s also cherry sampling with the Oregon Cherry Growers, a petting zoo, and a carnival with fun rides for all.
