Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

The Klickitat & Lyle Against Substance Abuse Coalition (KLASAC) if offering a Youth Mental Health First Aid training on Thursday, January 19th from 8:30 - 5:00 at Skyline Hospital.  This training is FREE and designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis.  CEUs are available as needed.
In the past two years KLASAC has trained 86 people in Youth Mental Health First Aid in Klickitat County!  Our goal is to break 100 this year and be part of the national movement to train a million people in this nationally recognized model!  To find out more about the 1 in a million campaign go to
