Exhibition: Plein Air in the Columbia Gorge

Drawing on a long tradition of painting in the open air, the Pacific Northwest Plein Air event attracts some of the finest painters from the region and across the country to capture the stunning light and inspiring vistas of the Columbia River Gorge.  Artists spend four days painting in the Gorge, fanning out to paint the vast, wild beauty of the area, from stunning views of Mt. Hood and the Columbia River to the surrounding vineyards and snowy peaks of the Cascades.  The resulting works are on view and available for purchase in Maryhill's M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust Education Center.
