On April 15, The Dalles Aglow Lighthouse will host a “Wild, Wonderful Worship” night at Harvest Foursquare Church. “Come expecting as we pour out our hearts to the Lord in song, dance, and prayer.” Come at 6:15 for a cup of coffee and fellowship. Again, bring a snack, if possible.
With the beginning of Daylight Savings Time, St. Alphonsus Church in Dufur will have Mass at 7 p.m., Saturday nights. St. Mary’s Maupin’s Mass will be Saturday at 5 p.m. The 7 p.m. Saturday night Mass will continue until October. The reason for the change is that Father Fabian Nwokorie has four parishes, two in Sherman County and two in Wasco County and they trade times.
Associate Pastor Tim Vance shares the message at the traditional 8:30 a.m. and contemporary 11 a.m. worship service Sunday.
From 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., are children, youth and adult classes.
ACTS (elementary-age) after school program is Thursdays from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Teen Community Bible Study (high school and college) meets Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. and includes a $20 semester fee for dinner and study guide.
Fellowship of Churches
The Mid-Columbia Fellowship of Churches will have its Speaker Forum Tuesday, April 23, at 5 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, at 305 East 11th St., across from the high school.
The speaker will be Wasco County Circuit Court Judge Janet Stauffer, who will give an update on Youth Court and Drug Court. A light snack and coffee will be served.
