A criminal mischief report was taken Thursday morning from West 1st and Union streets.

Matthew Joseph Cobos, 35, 1106 Emerson Drive No. 2, was arrested Thursday morning in his home and is accused of parole violation.

Police responded to the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street Thursday morning on a report of a disorderly customer. Employee advised the female was yelling at employees and customers. She left the store prior to officer arrival but was found at another store, she was advised she’d been trespassed from the property.

Police responded to the animal shelter Thursday afternoon on a report of a female subject that jumped on a board member’s vehicle wearing a gorilla mask. She was causing a scene at the shelter. Suspect was contacted and warned of her conduct.

An informational report was taken Thursday afternoon from the community college after a professor advised a student was having a post traumatic stress episode in class. Contact was made with the subject who advised he was having an episode he couldn’t’ control but did not need medical attention. He was given a ride home and left in the care of his wife.

Police responded to the 700 block of Union Street Thursday afternoon on a report of a disorderly subject. Employee advised a female subject was in their lobby creating a disturbance. The female was contacted and trespassed from the property; this is the same female contacted twice earlier in the day at two different locations.

A restraining order violation report was taken Thursday afternoon after a victim reported her husband attempted to call her posing as her brother who lives out of state; the incident is under investigation.

Misty Dawn Poole, 39, 3640 West 13th St. Unit. F1, was arrested Thursday evening in the 800 block of East 2nd Street and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

A second-degree theft report was taken Thursday evening from the 1700 block of West 10th Street after a victim reported she may have been scammed on craigslist.

A theft report was taken Thursday evening from the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street after an employee advised a customer fled the store without paying for groceries; the incident is under investigation.

Police responded to the 1800 block of East 12th Street Thursday evening on a report of a disturbance. Contact was made with the subjects involved who advised there was mutual harassment but neither wished to pursue charges; parties separated for the evening.

Catina Marie Varela Chavez, 39, 1106 Emerson Dr. No. 3, was arrested Thursday evening in her home and is accused of parole violation. James Early Mulvaney, 19, 806 Union St., was also arrested and is accused of two counts of probation violation.

An agency assist report was taken early Friday morning after city police assisted in a vehicle pursuit on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 87.

Police responded to the 300 block of Court Street early Friday morning on a report of a suicidal subject. Contact was made with the female who advised she did not want to harm herself but she was upset over a break up with her boyfriend. She was given her options for seeking assistance.

Wasco County

Deputy responded to the 1000 block of Irvine Street Thursday morning on a report of a subject hitting himself in the face. Contact was made with the subject who advised he was having some issues. He agreed to be taken to the hospital by his mother for an evaluation.

Deputy responded to Mosier Thursday afternoon after a victim called to report his dog was attacked by two dogs that belonged to another property owner in the area. The incident was logged as the two parties attempted to handle the issue civilly.

Deputy responded to the 3800 block of West 10th Street Thursday afternoon on a report of a burglary. Victim advised someone entered her home and items were missing; a burglary report was taken.

Eric Rene O’Connor, 36, Dufur, was arrested Thursday evening during a traffic stop on Highway 197 near milepost 2 and is accused of carrying a concealed firearm.

Deputy responded to Tygh Valley early Friday morning on a report of a possibly dead subject. Caller advised a friend was drinking heavily through the day and they found him unresponsive. Medics were able to revive the subject and he was transported to the hospital.
