Arts and entertainment from April 25

Hit Machine headlines the Cherry Stomp, celebrating its 20th year Saturday, April 27, during Cherry Festival weekend at The Dalles Civic Auditorium. “Hit Machine is the perfect band to celebrate our 20th year,” said Randy Haines promoter and owner of the Cherry Stomp. “We’ve hosted some great bands over the years. Our first Cherry Stomp in ’94 was held at The Dalles Armory with the Kingsmen. This year Hit Machine plays in the Civic theater with over 400 theater seats and a huge dance floor in front of the stage. The band is also bringing an awesome light show to the theater this year. Advance tickets are available at Klindt’s and Westwind Frame and Gallery. The Cherry Stomp is a 21 and over event. Doors to the theater open at 6:30 p.m., the show starts at 8.
