Union Street rail crossing closed Amy 9

— Union Street will be closed to all traffic at the West First and Union railroad crossing from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 9. The city will be partnering with Union Pacific to cut out and repave the approach to the tracks.

The closure will be complete at the railroad crossing, including emergency vehicles.

Traffic northbound on Union will be able to turn right at West First Street. Traffic eastbound on West Firstwill be detoured at Terminal Street but access to Oregon Cherry Growers and the recreational area
