The Dalles To the editor:
After disability forced me to retire early from a local job of 18 years, my family started telling me that once I left I was a happier person.
I routinely chat with or see people from that employer and I realize what my family was talking about. Looks of anger and desperation. May I recommend to all employees everywhere to look for the good that comes out of your job. The challenge to always improve, gain friendships and make a little money.
If you are part of a union then don’t worry about job scheduling. As per union contracts, seniority rules and anything else is harassment. Stay happy and remember that no one can harass you unless they have your permission.
