Accidents

The Dalles City

August 13, 3:09 p.m. – Single vehicle versus parked car, non-injury accident, 800 block of East 16th Place. Mackenzie Urness, 16, 5623 Emerson Loop Rd. was the involved driver. Urness struck a parked vehicle. Law enforcement was unable to contact the registered owner of the vehicle. A report was taken but no citations were issued.

Wasco County

August 13, 10:46 a.m. – Single all-terrain vehicle, injury accident, Eight mile road. No driver information was made available. Female victim crashed her four wheeler into a tree. She was taken to the hospital and a report was taken.

August 13, 8:43 p.m. – Single vehicle versus deer, non-injury accident, Highway 197 near milepost 6. Driver information was not made available. Driver struck a deer while passing a vehicle and the vehicle caught fire. Fire units responded and extinguished the fire. A report was taken.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

Theodore Marcellin Stratton, 61, 2429 East 18th St. was arrested Tuesday evening during a traffic stop at West 6th and Mt. Hood streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Police responded to the 700 block of West 11th Street Tuesday evening on a report of shots fired. Caller reported hearing a female screaming for someone to call the police. Contact was made with the female who advised a male subject was attempting to get into the home after being released from jail and he had a no contact order with the female. A report was taken an the incident is under investigation.

Police responded to the 3300 block of West 7th Street Tuesday evening on a report of a dispute. Mother reported her juvenile daughter was out of control in the home. Everything was calm upon arrival and the dispute was over doing the dishes. Subjects were counseled. During the investigation a runaway was located hiding in the backyard and returned to the custody of her father.

Police responded to the 500 block of Lone Pine Drive early Wednesday morning after a female caller reported that she was looking to harm herself. She was contacted and voluntarily taken to the hospital for an evaluation.

Wasco County

A criminal trespass report was taken Tuesday morning from the 3700 block of Pleasant Ridge Road after a female reported a male subject attempted to assault her and wanted him removed from the property. Subject was escorted off the premises.

A theft report was taken Tuesday afternoon in Dufur after a victim reported her cell phone was stolen over the weekend.

Regional Jail

Dustin Cody Hardin, 22, 1400 East 15th St., was jailed Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for contempt of court.

Jeana Marie Green, 41, 3303 Old Dufur Rd., was jailed Tuesday on a municipal court commitment for probation violation.

Gary Leroy Ross, 36, 2009 West 9th Pl. was transported and jailed Tuesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Abraham James Hunt, 46, Warm Springs, was transported and jailed Tuesday after being arrested on a Gilliam County warrant for probation violation.
