Accidents

Oregon State Police

August 27, 9:46 p.m. – Single vehicle versus wildlife, non-injury crash, Highway 197 northbound, milepost 3. Jessaka M. Shroy, 52, no listed address was the involved driver. Shroy struck a deer while driving northbound on the Highway. The vehicle was towed. A report was taken.

The Dalles City

A criminal mischief report was taken Tuesday morning from the 1800 block of West 2nd Street after a storage unit door was damaged.

An arson report was taken Tuesday morning from the 1300 block of Bridge Street.

A theft report was taken Tuesday afternoon from the 800 block of West 9th Street after a victim reported someone entered their garage and stole some items.

A theft report was taken Tuesday afternoon from the 3500 block of Klindt Drive after someone advised some cell phones were stolen.

An informational report was taken Tuesday afternoon from the community corrections office after a client was found in possession of materials for falsifying a drug test.

Mariah Dawn Hernandez, 27, 2223 East 12th St., was arrested Tuesday evening in the 2900 block of East 2nd Street and is accused of probation violation and unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

David Jaafe Wentworth, 21, no listed address, was arrested Tuesday evening in the 1400 block of East 12th Street and is accused of probation violation, felon in possession of a restrict weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.

Lorena Viveros Cruz, 20, 519 West 17th St., was arrested early Wednesday morning in the 1200 block of West 8th Street and is accused of probation violation, harassment, and second-degree criminal mischief. Daniel Herrera Herrera, 18, 2525 West 8th St., was also arrested and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines and being a fugitive of ICE.

Wasco County

An informational report was taken Tuesday morning at the regional jail after an inmate was reported someone outside the jail was attempting to have her killed. The incident is under investigation.

Oregon State Police

Waylon Willie Looney, 27, no listed address, was arrested Tuesday morning during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 at Exit 104 on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Regional Jail

Linda Sally Dave, 34, Celilo Village, was transported to the regional jail Tuesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Charles Thomas Smith, 22, 901 West 11th St., was transported to the regional jail Tuesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for failure to appear.

Parole and Probation

William James Thew, 27, no listed address, was arrested Tuesday morning in the community corrections office on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Heidi Fisher Fawn Perez, 33, 2700 West 7th St. No. 32, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation and falsifying drug test results.

Kevin Eugene Johnson, 41, Mosier, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
