Accidents

The Dalles City

December 20, 3:33 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, West 6th and Webber streets. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

December 20, 5:15 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, West 8th and Walnut streets. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Fire

December 21, 9:22 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 7100 block of Mill Creek Road on a report of a barn fire. Upon arrival nothing was showing from the barn. Contact was made with the property owner who advised his wife saw the flames from their home and he extinguished the fire. A deicing unit fell onto a plastic water trough and started the fire. The fire was contained to one wall of the barn and was put out quickly by the property owner.

Personnel also responded to seven calls for emergency medical services on Friday, three on Saturday and three on Sunday.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

Police responded to the 1300 block of East 10th Street Friday morning after a victim reported someone broke into her vehicle and destroyed a pack of soda in her trunk causing a large mess. It was determined the soda had frozen due to the weather and had burst, no crime was committed.

Police responded to the 2600 block of West 6th Street Friday morning after an employee advised a female subject who had previously been trespassed from the store had returned. Contact was made with the suspect who was too intoxicated to remember she had been trespassed; she willingly left the store without incident.

Jeannie Marie Barker, 43, 4405 Highway 30 No. 403 was arrested Friday in her home and is accused of animal abandonment.

Michael David Shinnick, 42, no listed address, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 3300 block of West 6th Street and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct, offensive littering, harassment, and unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

Albert Chico Cervantes, 25, 1611 H St., was arrested Friday evening in the 2800 block of West 7th Street on a circuit court warrant for violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.

David Clay Jennings, 42, Kelso, Wash., was arrested Friday evening in the 900 block of East 13th Street and is accused of probation violation and felon in possession of a restricted weapon.

A criminal mischief report was taken Friday evening from the 1300 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported his vehicle was keyed while parked in the area.

Brandon Charles Logue, 21, 3117 West 7th St., was arrested early Saturday morning in his home and is accused of unlawful possession of marijuana.

A criminal mischief report was taken Saturday morning from the 1100 block of East 10th Street after a victim reported their tires were slashed overnight.

A criminal mischief report was taken Saturday morning from the 600 block of East 2nd Street after a victim reported their window was smashed out overnight.

Police responded to the 2500 block of West 2nd Street Saturday evening after a victim reported two subjects were not wanted in her trailer. Subjects left without incident.

An informational report was taken Saturday evening from the 500 block of East 12th Street after a mother called to report she had an altercation with her juvenile daughter who attempted to hit her during the altercation.

Police responded to the 800 block of Court Street Sunday morning after a caller reported a male subject was sitting in the common area of an apartment complex with a gun. Contact was made with the suspect who advised he was outside with a gun because he was worried someone was coming after him. Subject was counseled on his actions.

Amanda Michell Worley, 18, no listed address, was arrested Sunday afternoon in the 700 block of East 14th Street on a circuit court warrant for failure to appear.

William Reuben Adams, 51, 3817 West 10th St. No. 43, was arrested Sunday afternoon during a traffic stop on West 9th and Kingsley streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and driving while suspended.

A hit and run report was taken Sunday afternoon from the 1300 block of East 18th Street.

Destin Scott Christopherson, 35, 1511 H St., was arrested Sunday evening in his home on a circuit court warrant for unlawful possession of methamphetamines. He is also accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

An agency assist report was taken early Monday morning on Interstate 84 eastbound, near milepost 82 after assisting in a pursuit. Hood River County was in pursuit of a stolen vehicle out of Multnomah County. City police attempted to use spike strips at milepost 82 but were unsuccessful. City units pursued vehicle until Biggs Junction where Sherman County deputies took over. The vehicle was eventually stopped in Gilliam County.

Wasco County

Robin Kerrie Wren, 28, 2414 West 10th St., was arrested Friday afternoon in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street on a Morrow County warrant for failure to appear.

An animal neglect report was taken Friday afternoon from the 3700 block of Fivemile Road.

A theft report was taken Friday evening from the 2600 block of West 10th Street after a victim reported someone stole some items from her home.

Oregon State Police

Julio Cesar Zuniga, 30, Tijuana, Mexico; was arrested Friday evening during a traffic stop in Biggs Junction and is accused of failure to comply.

Benjamin William Slota, 27, Bend, was arrested Saturday afternoon during a traffic stop on Highway 97 northbound, milepost 15 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

A female driver was cited and released for driving uninsured, driving while suspended and having a child passenger with no seat belt Saturday evening during a traffic stop in Biggs Junction. Two adult passengers were also cited for failure to use seat belts. The vehicle was towed.

A male driver was cited and released for unlawful possession of less than an ounce of marijuana during a traffic stop Sunday evening on Brett Clodfelter Way and Highway 197.

Sherman County

Roy Joseph Carmargo, 32, Kennewick, Wash., was arrested Friday afternoon in Sherman County circuit court on a Sherman County warrant for failure to appear.

Regional Jail

Daniel John Williams, 21, Chico, Calif., was jailed Friday on a Sherman County circuit court commitment for unlawful possession of ecstasy.

Wayne Erin Swanson, 55, Rufus, was jailed Friday on a Sherman County circuit court commitment for first-degree theft, and 17 counts of negotiating a bad check.

Gail Ann Lewis, 52, Dallesport, was booked and released Friday on a Sherman County circuit court commitment for a commercial fishing offense.

Parole & Probation

Kerry Alan Pohrman, 44, 1624 East 14th St., was arrested Friday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of two counts of probation violation.
