Community Action seeking contractors

Mid-Columbia Community Action Council is seeking weatherization contractors to perform work for the agency’s weatherization program.

Work includes installing energy-saving measures such as blown-in fiberglas insulation and bat insulation, replacing windows and doors, performing diagnostic testing (blower door, duct, furnace). Work may also include minor repairs to roofing, floors and walls.

All jobs are assigned based on competitive bidding. All work performed will by inspected by the Mid-Columbia Community Action Council and must meet the latest Construction Contractor Board codes, as well as Department of Energy and Bonneville Power specifications.

Contractors must have a current Oregon Contractor’s License, Lead-Safe Work Practices Certification, mold and mildew remediation certificate and liability insurance for $1 million minimum.
