January 31, 1:36 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, East 3rd and Union streets. Officer assisted with information exchange.

January 31, 2:11 p.m. – Two vehicle, injury crash, 700 block of Snipes Street. Sarah Brown, 15, 2408 West 10th St., and Diane Cates, 60, 1137 Murray Dr. were involved drivers. Brown was cited for careless driving. Cates complained of pain but refused medical attention.

Police responded to the 1300 block of East 19th Street Thursday morning on a report of a trespassing subject. Officer made contact with school officials who advised a man walked into the kitchen as the door was opened and was not authorized to do so. If the subject is seen again he is to be trespassed.

An animal sexual abuse report was taken by the animal control officer Thursday morning; incident is under investigation.

Michael Lee Powell, 29, 413½ W. 7th St., was arrested Thursday morning at East 12th and Dry Hollow streets on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

An informational report was taken Thursday afternoon from the 1200 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported a man was standing outside her work; she has a no contact order against him.

Police responded to East 11th and Union streets Thursday afternoon after a large group of students were in the middle of the road impeding traffic. Subjects and they were told to move along.

James Mark Hendrick Jr., 28, 2417 East 10th St., was arrested Thursday afternoon during a traffic stop on East 10th and Thompson streets and accused of driving while suspended.

A runaway report was taken Thursday evening from the 500 block of East 10th Street. Parents called later in the evening to say the juvenile returned.

Weston Ray Tappendorf, 25, 1815 Montana St., was arrested Thursday evening during a traffic stop at East 12th and Dry Hollow streets and accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and third-degree theft.

Police responded to the 700 block of Union Street Thursday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. Contact was made with the male and female who said they were having a verbal altercation.

Police responded to the 100 block of West 2nd Street early Friday morning on a report of a domestic dispute. Contact was made with a male and female subject who said they were having a verbal altercation.

Police responded to the 800 block of Chenowith Loop Road early Friday morning after a caller reported hearing a single gunshot in the area. Nothing suspicious was found.

Wasco County

Steven Donald Barley, 38, Aberdeen, Washington, was arrested Thursday evening in Antelope on two Linn County warrants for contempt of court and probation violation.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited and released for driving while suspended and driving uninsured during a traffic stop on West 2nd and Webber streets Thursday afternoon; the vehicle was impounded.
