Feb. 2, 12:34 p.m. – Two-vehicle, non-injury crash, 6000 block of Highway 30 West. Driver information was not available. Deputy assisted with information exchange, no citations issued.

Oregon State Police

Feb. 2, 9:45 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 97 northbound, milepost 4. Gerardo Cruz-Ceja, 54, Pasco, Wash., was driving northbound and drifted off the road and then overcorrected, causing the trailer he was pulling to roll over on its side. Ceja was cited for failure to maintain lane.

Feb. 4, 8:03 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 3600 block of West 13th Street on a report of a grass fire. Upon arrival a small attended warming fire was observed.

Personnel responded to 10 calls for emergency medical services on Friday, seven on Saturday, two on Sunday and two on Monday.

The Dalles City

Police responded to the 2300 block of East 2nd Street Friday morning on a report of a youth throwing rocks off the bluff down at the road. The area was checked but no one was found.

Police responded to the 700 block of Pleasant Court Friday afternoon on a welfare check. Caller reported a coworker was texting suicidal thoughts. The woman acknowledged she had thoughts of harming herself. She was taken to the hospital voluntarily for evaluation.

A report was taken Friday afternoon from the 400 block of West 7th Street after a victim reported she had purchased 10,000 DVDs off eBay and only received some; eBay only partially reimbursed her and required her to seek a police report.

Kenneth Scott Nyberg, 47, 3817 West 10th St. No. 1A, was arrested Friday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.

Michael James Miles Jr., 28, 5226 Cherry Heights Rd., was arrested Friday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of two counts of parole violation.

Abben Holt Boorman, 1712 East 10th St., was arrested Friday evening in the 1100 block of Trevitt Street on a municipal court warrant for failure to appear and is accused of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.

A theft report was taken Friday evening from the 2500 block of West 6th Street, after a victim reported their vehicle was prowled the previous evening and had some items missing.

Jeana Marie Green, 40, 3038 Old Dufur Rd., was arrested Friday evening at East 3rd and 4th place and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct.

Police responded to East 3rd and Union streets early Saturday morning on a report of a male lying on the sidewalk. As soon as the officer exited his vehicle to check on the subject he fled on foot. Area was checked but subject was not initially found. Later, Carlos Michael Holeman, 27, 706 West 8th St., was arrested at West 8th and Garrison streets and is accused of probation violation.

Harry Max Bullock III, 39, 126 West 6th St. No. 3 was arrested early Saturday morning in the 200 block of East 2nd Street and is accused of probation violation.

A hit and run report was taken Saturday morning from the 100 block of West 11th Street after a victim reported their vehicle was hit while parked overnight.

A theft report was taken Saturday afternoon from the 2400 block of West 10th Street after a victim reported someone entered the vehicle and took items.

Brandon Kyle Helman, 32, 1415 Nevada St., was arrested Saturday evening in his home on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

A criminal mischief report was taken Saturday evening from the 800 block of Floral Court after a victim reported a large pickup dumped garbage all over their driveway.

Shayree D. Brookshier, 24, 1008 East 13th St., was arrested early Sunday morning during a traffic stop on West 2nd and Webber streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

A telephonic harassment report was taken Sunday afternoon from the 1200 block of Eric Court after a victim reported her ex-boyfriend and his current girlfriend continually called or texted to harass her.

Police responded to the 800 block of Court Street Sunday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. The involved parties told police it was verbal only. They were warned of their conduct.

Lester Irwin Spino, 54, Pendleton, was arrested Sunday evening during a traffic crash investigation and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.

Lorena Viveros Cruz, 19, 519 West 17th St., was arrested Sunday evening in her home and is accused of probation violation.

Police responded to the 800 block of Court Street Sunday evening on a report of a domestic disturbance. The man said the woman was throwing things in the home and breaking them causing him to cut his finger. Female was in bed and calm upon arrival and said she’d stay there.

Police responded to the 2800 block of West 7th Street Sunday evening on a report of a domestic disturbance. The involved parties told police it was verbal only. They were warned of their conduct.

Police responded to the 200 block of West 6th Street early Monday morning on a report of a domestic dispute. The involved parties told police it was verbal only. They were warned of their conduct.

Police responded to the 3900 block of West 6th Street early Monday morning on a report of a trespasser. A man was on the property who had been told to stay away. He left prior to officer arrival.

Martin Ray Dodson, 53, 3500 Doane Rd., was arrested early Monday morning in the 2000 block of West 8th Street and is accused of improper use of 911. He’d called 911 to say someone was breaking out car windows by his house. Police found no broken car windows nearby and arrested Dodson.

Police responded to the high school Monday morning on a report of harassment. Caller reported her son was being harassed by an administrator. Contact was made with both sides and nothing criminal was found. The mother was told that administrators are required to call her when her son is skipping school.

A found bicycle report was taken Monday morning from the 2700 block of West 2nd Street.

Police responded to the 1100 block of Trevitt Street Monday afternoon on a report of a domestic dispute. Foster parent said an 18-year-old foster son would not leave. The son agreed to leave and the parents were given information on eviction proceedings.

Police responded to the 1500 block of West 12th Street Monday afternoon on a report of a domestic dispute. The parties involved said it was verbal only. They were warned of their conduct.

A theft report was taken Monday evening from the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street after an employee advised a man left the property with a shopping cart. He was found with the cart near the pool and agreed to return it to the store. He was trespassed from the store and cited for several city ordinance violations and released.

A store reported a beer was taken Monday evening from the 300 block of Lincoln Street; investigation discovered this was the same suspect from the cart theft earlier in the evening.

A man was cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and drinking in public Monday evening at the West 1st Street dock.

Jerry Lee Proffitt, 32, no listed address, was arrested Monday evening in the 100 block of West 2nd Street and is accused of third-degree theft and felon in possession of a restricted weapon.

Steven Christopher Hudnall, 36, Richland, Wash., was arrested early Tuesday morning in the 3900 block of West 6th Street and is accused of violation of a restraining order.

Adam Shane Adams, 31, Hood River, was arrested early Tuesday morning in the 300 block of Lone Pine Drive on a Hood River county warrant for contempt of court. He is also accused of second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief.

Police responded to the 2500 block of West 6th Street early Tuesday morning. Employee advised a loud party in a hotel room was continuing despite requests to stop. Police told them to leave the motel, which they did, without incident.

Police responded to the 100 block of West 4th Street early Tuesday morning on a report of a disturbance. Employee advised a guest was upset at the state of his motel room and wanted a partial refund. Subject was contacted and asked to leave and he did so.

Wasco County

A report was taken Saturday morning from Tygh Valley after an employee reported someone broke the window into the store and the incident was captured on video. Gary D. Vinsonhaler, 45, Tygh Valley, was arrested on charges of first-degree criminal mischief and two counts of attempted first-degree criminal mischief. He was also lodged on a Multnomah County warrant for parole violation.

Deputy responded to the 4100 block of Chenowith Road Saturday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. The parties involved said it was verbal. They were warned of their conduct.

Deputy responded to the 4500 block of Highway 30 Saturday evening on a welfare check after a man reported his ex-wife was highly intoxicated and unable to care for their children. Deputies found the children being cared for at a neighbor’s house and were satisfied with that. Later, the neighbor reported the mother was vomiting and had hit the neighbor. Deputies returned and the children were taken into protective custody.

Deputy responded to the 5000 block of Hawley Road Saturday evening on a report of a disturbance. Caller reported hearing people fighting followed by gun shots and a vehicle speeding off. A person told deputies there was a party nearby but did not say where. One person was cited for minor in possession of alcohol.

Deputy responded to the Maupin area Saturday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. The parties reported it was verbal only and they agreed to separate for the evening.

A death investigation report was taken Sunday morning from the Mosier area after a caller reported finding a subject unresponsive in the home.

Justin Patrick Lane, 24, 5740 Highway 30 West No. 5, was arrested early Monday morning following a pursuit at West 7th and Garrison streets and is accused of attempting to elude a police officer.

A harassment report was taken Monday morning from the 4100 block of Chenowith Road. A man and woman were having a domestic dispute in view of a toddler. The woman bit the man to make him let go of her. Incident under investigation.

A theft report was taken Monday evening from the 1200 block of Verdant Street after a victim reported their vehicle was gone through overnight.

Oregon State Police

Todd James Helms, 39, Fossil, was arrested Friday afternoon in his home and is accused of three counts of unlawful possession of an elk, two counts of unlawful possession of a deer and three counts of aiding in a wildlife violation.

Melquiades Simon Hernandez, 37, Vancouver, was arrested Friday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 94 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants, four counts of recklessly endangering, and being a fugitive of INS.

James Eric Nelson, 33, Condon, was arrested Saturday evening in his home and is accused of a wildlife offense.

Natalia Tyesa Neal, 30, Peoria, Ill., was arrested Sunday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 135 and is accused of unlawful possession of heroin and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Samuel Louis Watkins, 21, Carlton, was also arrested on a Polk County warrant for probation violation.

Trooper responded to the 3000 block of West 2nd Street Sunday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. Mother advised her juvenile daughter was hitting her and damaging items in the home. The mother declined to pursue charges and the daughter was warned of her conduct.

A male driver was cited and released for driving uninsured and no operator’s license during a traffic stop Monday evening on West 6th and Webber streets; the vehicle was impounded.

Sherman County

Linda Pearl Redden, 59, Grass Valley, was arrested Friday evening in her home and is accused of fourth-degree assault.

Gilliam County

Lindsay Brooke Williams, 33, Pasco, Wash., was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 136 and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Frank Wesley Bollinger, 52, Pasco, Wash., was arrested Sunday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 Eastbound, milepost 140 on a Multnomah County warrant for domestic menacing. Rebecca Lynne Wilcox, 36, Pasco, Wash., was also arrested on a Multnomah County warrant for four counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Heather Marie Savelli, 33, Richland, Wash., was arrested Monday evening in Arlington and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and second-degree child neglect.

Regional Jail

Robert Allen Calvert, 35, Redding, Calif., was processed at the regional jail Friday on a Sherman County court commitment for depositing lighted material on a highway.

Kathryn Mae Foss, 44, 3311 West 13th St., was processed and released Monday on a circuit court commitment for first-degree failure to appear.

Sandra Lynn Hall, 57, 4109 Chenowith Rd. No. 7 was processed at the regional jail Monday on a circuit court commitment for first-degree criminal trespass.
