Goldendale GOLDENDALE — Five people were arrested Feb. 5 on illegal drug charges — and theft of a fire truck — related to Klickitat County Sheriff’s raids at two Goldendale-area residences.
Working in cooperation with the Goldendale Police Department, the sheriff’s office executed warrants in the 300 block of Woodland Road and 600 block of East Main Street, allegedly linking multiple suspects to criminal activity.
Information from the sheriff said evidence of drug dealing was found at the Main Street address. Arrested at the scene were Charles W. Foley, 37, Jennifer D. Stohler, 37, John A. Lawrence, 45, and Nicholas A. Burnett, 39.
Foley, Stohler, Lawrence and Burnett all face delivery of controlled substance charges, while Foley also faces unlawfull possession of a firearm charges.
Steven L. Smith, 38, was arrested during the Woodland Road raid. Numerous firearms were located at the scene, according the sheriff’s information, including one believed to be stolen. Smith is prohibited from possessing firearms. Smith faces seven counts of unlawful possession of a firearm.
Foley was also charged with second-degree taking a motor vehicle without permission in connection with a fire truck reported stolen from the Centerville Fire Department Dec. 26, 2012.
The sheriff’s office is its investigation into multiple other suspects and possible related crimes. More arrests are expected.
