The Dalles — Selfish and greedy
To the editor:
The economy broke to half in my dump truck business in 2007 and has pretty much stayed there. The doubling of water bills is indicative of the fox guarding the henhouse.
Like a dog chasing its tail, our entitlement checks are funneled back to government employees. As was stated lately in a Chronicle editorial, PERS as “invested” was not guaranteed, by its very nature invested in a fluctuating market.
Mankind, selfish and greedy.
