Hood River Shrewd strategy
To the editor:
At the time I thought Mr. Obama’s strategy was a mistake, but I was wrong. By appearing constantly on entertainment programs — late night comedians, daytime talk shows and always ready to rub elbows with the Hollywood elite, our commander in chief certainly knew what he was doing.
He was seeking the enthusiastic support from all the low-information voters in the nation, who were completely enthralled with his snow-blinding smile and his message that seemed to say “I’m the most popular and likable candidate and I’ll give you everything you want.” Make no mistake, the president had to appeal to the low information voters and get their support at the polls. That’s how the brainwashed defeated the enlightened. For this, Obama deserves the most “clever endeavor” award.
