Feb. 8, 12:41 p.m. – Vehicle versus motorcycle, minor injury accident, 100 block of West 2nd Street. Leata Faamausili, 34, 1221 East 17th St. and Gary Mills. 61, Lyle, were the involved drivers. Faamausili was cited for no operator’s license and careless driving; a report was taken.

A hit and run report was taken Friday morning from the 1700 block of East 12th Street. Suspect was found later in Dufur and counseled on his actions, insurance information was exchanged and no citations were issued.

Feb. 8, 3:50 a.m. – Single vehicle, injury crash, Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 136. Donald Wayne Burden, 50, Washougal, Wash., was westbound when he fell asleep taking the exit. The vehicle traveled onto gravel and ran into several large boulders. A passenger inside in the rear of the vehicle was thrown to the front of the vehicle and suffered serious facial lacerations. Burden was cited for careless driving; neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt.

February 10, 2 p.m. – Personnel responded to 400 block of East Knoll Drive on a report of smoke in a home. During investigation light smoke was observed inside the home. A pot was found burning on the stove after the family left the house. The pot was removed and the smoke was ventilated from the home.

Personnel also responded to five calls for emergency medical services on Friday, three on Saturday, 10 on Sunday and 11 on Monday.

Police responded to the 2000 block of West Scenic Drive Friday morning on a report of a car prowl. Victim reported sometime overnight someone entered his vehicle and took items, one of which may have been a pistol. Victim couldn’t remember whether the gun was in the vehicle.

A vehicle parked in the travel lane was towed Friday morning from the 300 block of West 4th Street.

An identity theft report was taken Friday morning from the 1200 block of G Street after a victim reported someone used his identity to set up utility service in Arizona.

Police responded to the 1800 block of Liberty Street Friday morning on a report of a vehicle prowl. Victim reported her vehicle was prowled overnight for the second time.

Dale Allen Hartford, 42, Lyle, was arrested Friday morning at the police station on a Multnomah County warrant for contempt of court.

An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and theft reports were taken Friday afternoon from the boat basin after a victim reported their vehicle was gone through and had several items stolen.

Police responded to the 400 block of East 7th Street Friday afternoon on a report of a suicidal subject. The person was taken into custody on a police officer hold and taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Cory James Widner, 21, Mosier, was arrested Friday evening in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street on a municipal court warrant for second-degree failure to appear and a Hood River municipal court warrant for contempt of court.

A runaway report was taken Friday evening from the 800 block of East 14th Street. The juvenile returned home Sunday evening and was removed from the system.

Police made contact with a juvenile subject while patrolling the college parking lots Friday evening. She was cited for minor in possession of alcohol and released to her guardian.

A third-degree theft report was taken Friday evening from the 3200 block of Bret Clodfelter Way after an employee advised someone appeared to have stolen a car charger from the market.

Rosa Maria Lara, 53, 715 Chenowith Loop Rd., was arrested early Saturday morning during a traffic stop and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Police responded to East 10th and Washington streets early Saturday morning on a report of several subjects engaged in a fight. Contact was made with a group of students in the area who were leaving for a school event, no fight was observed.

Robert Adin Chase Jr., 47, no listed address; was arrested Saturday morning in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street on a municipal court warrant for second-degree failure to appear and is also accused of third-degree theft.

A report was taken Saturday morning from the 2000 block of West 9th Street after a victim reported their previous renter trashed the home.

Rkia Sarah Lynn Linder, 22, 4405 Highway 30, No. 603; was arrested Saturday afternoon at West 10th and Emerson streets and is accused of fourth-degree domestic assault and harassment.

A first-degree criminal trespass report was taken Saturday evening from the 300 block of East 12th Street after a victim reported his ex-girlfriend came onto his property after being told to stay away.

Police responded to the 200 block of East 2nd Street early Saturday morning on a report of a disturbance. Caller advised a male and female were fighting with several security staff members. Suspects were trespassed from the establishment for life.

William Carroll Fuller Jr., 31, Portland, and Jaymee Ann Mall, 28, 3640 West 13th St. Unit D8, were arrested Sunday morning in the 600 block of East 9th Street and are both accused of second-degree disorderly conduct.

Police responded to the 400 block of East 12th Street early Sunday morning on a report of a domestic dispute. The man and woman involved told police it was verbal only. No injuries were seen. They were counseled.

A hit and run report was taken Sunday morning from the 2000 block of West 7th Street.

Police responded to Kramer Fields Sunday afternoon on a report of a juvenile male beating a juvenile female and dragging her around. The male was arrested and accused of second-degree robbery, second-degree kidnapping, second-degree disorderly conduct, harassment, fourth-degree assault, and interference with making a report.

A menacing report was taken Sunday afternoon from the 1400 block of East 11th Street after a victim reported a man was threatening him with a knife. Police could not find the suspect.

Police responded to the 100 block of East 2nd Street Sunday evening on a report of an alarm going off at a business. During the investigation a man and woman were found having sex in a nearby vehicle, which did not belong to them. Both were cited and released for unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and public indecency.

David John Castle, 30, no listed address, was arrested early Monday morning in the 1500 block of East 11th Street and is accused of menacing, harassment and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

A man in the 900 block of Washington reported his son as a runaway on Monday morning.

An employee in the 3200 block of Bret Clodfelter Way reported a man drove off without paying for $60 in gas on Monday morning.

Christopher Sean Casteel, 25, 507 Barnett St., Wasco, was arrested in the 1700 block of E. 12th St. on Monday morning and is accused of probation violation (assault 4).

A woman Monday morning reported a suspicious odor and lots of vehicle traffic coming and going from a house in the 800 block of E. 8th Street.

A man found a cell phone in the 200 block of Union Street Monday morning and turned it in to police.

A bike was found in the 1600 block of East 9th Street and turned over to police Monday morning.

Shannon Gilman, 25, 704 E. 12th St., was arrested on a municipal court warrant for criminal driving while suspended/revoked and lodged at the regional jail Monday morning.

A man was reported trespassing at a gas station in the 3900 block of W. 6th Street Monday afternoon, and attempting to pump his own gas, after he’d been told to stay away. Police found him at a nearby apartment complex. Nicholas Michael Lowe, 31, 1300 E. 14th St., was arrested for second-degree criminal trespass.

A woman reported about 15 backpacks were lying on the ground in the area of East 11th and Clark streets Monday afternoon. Police found the property belongs to a man who is in jail and was evicted from a yard he was sleeping in without permission. City officials would work to try to remove the trash.

Andrew Joseph Pulver, 29, 904 E. 12th St., was arrested in the 800 block of E. 13th St. Monday afternoon on charges of interfering with a peace officer and two counts of probation violation.

Tyler Stenshoel Nygaard, 26, no address, was arrested Monday afternoon at First and Laughlin streets on a probation violation charge out of Sherman County.

A counselor reported Monday afternoon a woman e-mailed with a plan to kill herself by stopping her medication. Police found the woman and took her voluntarily to the hospital for an evaluation.

A man in the 800 block of Home Ct. W. said his neighbor just came out of his home, urinated on his own yard and began to fondle himself. Police contacted the neighbor and told him to stop urinating in public.

A girl said she was followed by several other girls Monday afternoon near the high school and they tried to pick a fight with her, but backed off when she headed for the police station. The girl and her mother declined to pursue charges.

Police were contacted by a resident about a burn complaint in the 2200 block of E. 9th Street. The officer talked to a man using a burn barrel and he put it out.

Kimberly Kaye Hawkins, 36, 1219 E. 12th St., was arrested at a local restaurant Monday evening on a warrant for two charges of identity theft and one charge of first degree theft.

Wasco County

A report was taken Friday evening from the 4500 block of Highway 30 on a report of a violation of a no contact order.

Deputy responded to the 2100 block of Dry Hollow Road Friday evening on a report of shots fired. Nothing suspicious was located.

Deputy responded to the 4400 block of Highway 30 Saturday evening on a report of a truck that ran into an RV. Contact was made with the driver and RV owner. Driver was loading some items into his truck and when he got in to leave it popped out of gear, rolled down the driveway and grazed the RV. Subjects exchanged insurance information.

A man in the 7100 block of Sevenmile High Road reported Monday morning six personal street signs were stolen off a post.

A woman reported her daughter called Monday afternoon and told her she was in an accident on Sevenmile Road. Police contacted the person at the phone the daughter called from, and he said they were on Dry Hollow Road. Police found the accident on Threemile Road. The driver was cited for driving uninsured.

Alberta Lynn Taylor Fuentes, 45, 47389 Kirkpatrick Rd., Pendleton, was arrested Monday afternoon in Highway 216, milepost 24 on a Umatilla County warrant for second degree failure to appear.

A water utility employee asked for a welfare check on an elderly woman in the 1200 block of Stofer Lane who had not paid her water bill. The woman had not been seen for a week. Police found the woman dead of natural causes.

A dead juvenile cougar was noted at the back door of the Fish and Wildlife building Monday afternoon when deputies responded to check an open gate found at the building.

Oregon State Police

Ryan Scott Dragoo, 24, Bend, was arrested Friday afternoon during a traffic stop on Highway 97 at milepost 12 on a Klamath County warrant for probation violation.

A male driver was cited and released for driving under the influence of intoxicants during a traffic stop early Saturday morning on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 88. The vehicle was released to a family member.

Jeremy Paul Mashore, 35, Goldendale, was arrested early Saturday morning during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 104, and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Christopher Lee Washburn, 40, Moses Lake, Wash., was arrested Saturday morning during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 92 and is accused of unauthorized used of a motor vehicle. William Robert Balabon, 43, Longview, Wash., was also arrested during the incident and is accused of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Ronald Kurtis Sallee, 47, Kennewick, Wash., was arrested Sunday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 112 on a Benton County warrant for being a fugitive from another from another state.

Regional Jail

Oliver Edward Ramirez, 21, Petaluma, Calif., was processed at the regional jail Friday on a Gilliam County court commitment for probation violation and failure to appear.

Chance Widner, 2225 Mosier Creek Rd., Mosier, was booked and released on a Wasco County Circuit Court remand on charges of probation violation, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Anjanette Lee Bean, 37, Portland, turned herself into the regional jail on a court commitment for driving under the influence.

Parole and Probation

Christopher Scott Mulvaney, 24, Hwy 30, Apt. 4, was arrested at the parole and probation office on a charge of probation violation.

Sherman County

Sandra Kay Roberts, 55, Wishram, and Robert Gary Hassing, 62, both of Wishram, were arrested at Highway 30 and Highway 97 in Biggs and are accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
