February 19, 12:16 p.m. – Two vehicle, minor injury crash, East 2nd and Union streets. Involved drivers were Amanda Tobie, 42, 802 Hostetler Way No. 2 and Mike Ward, 69, Maupin. Tobie was in a business and was parked behind Ward’s parked vehicle in the area when her vehicle slipped into drive and rear ended Ward. A passenger in Ward’s vehicle had some back pain but declined medical attention. A report was taken and no citations were issued.

Police responded to the 900 block of East 19th Street Tuesday morning on a report of a vehicle prowl. Caller reported someone rummaged through their vehicle and took some money. Victim wanted the information logged.

Police responded to the 100 block of West 9th Street Tuesday morning after a caller reported they may have received counterfeit money from a store. The currency was inspected and it was real.

A third-degree criminal mischief report was taken Tuesday morning from the 1100 block of G Street after a victim reported someone spit on the door handle to her vehicle.

Police responded to the 100 block of East 8th Street Tuesday afternoon after a caller reported an unknown woman was removing items from a neighbor’s home while they were not there. Contact was made with the female who was the property manager and was fixing a leak, no problem found.

Police responded to the 1000 block of West 9th Street Tuesday afternoon on a report of a found bike. The bike was taken to impound and a report was taken.

A theft report was taken Tuesday afternoon at the police station after a victim reported her stolen credit card was being used in town; the incident is under investigation.

A third-degree criminal mischief report was taken Tuesday afternoon from the 300 block of East 12th Street after a victim reported his truck was spray painted; incident is under investigation.

Police responded to the 300 block of West 4th Street Tuesday evening on a report of a trespassing subject. Caller reported a male subject came into her home from the back door and refused to leave when told to. Suspect shoved the caller several times and stole some beer from the home. Suspect fled prior to officer arrival. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Police responded to the 3500 block of East 2nd Street Tuesday evening on a report of a suicide. Caller reported her son-in-law possibly overdosed on some medication. Subject was taken to the hospital by medics and a report was taken.

Wasco County

Deputy responded to the 2500 block of Threemile Road Tuesday morning after a property owner advised a subject came on to his property and took some wood without permission. Contact was made with the suspect in Dufur and a civil agreement was made between the two to have the wood returned. Suspect was also trespassed from the property.

Regional Jail

Jackie Ray Richardson, 54, Wasco, was transported to the regional jail Tuesday from Umatilla County where he was arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Tammy Jean Bush, 45, Spokane, was transported to the regional jail Tuesday from Benton County (Washington) where she was arrested on a Gilliam County warrant for probation violation.

Christopher Landry Jones, 21, Auburn, was transported to the regional jail Tuesday from Pierce County (Washington) where he was arrested on a Gilliam County warrant for probation violation.

David Damon McConville, 46, Wishram, was transported to the regional jail Tuesday from Multnomah County where he was arrested on a circuit court warrant for driving while suspended.

Joshua Paul Hasty, 28, Portland, was transported to the regional jail Tuesday from Multnomah County where he was arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Ryan Jay Newton, 20, 747 Chenowth Loop Rd., was transported to the regional jail Tuesday from Multnomah County where he was arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Parole and Probation

Jaime Lynn Mulvaney, 24, no listed address, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.

Joseph Michael Smith, 35, 511 Liberty St. No. 2; was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
