February 20, 2:50 p.m. — Two vehicle, non-injury crash, Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 75. Brandon James Hughes, 20, Moro, and Neal Leroy Hallock, 46, Bradford, Penn., were the involved drivers. Hughes was attempting to overtake Hallock and swerved over and hit Hallock’s mirror. A report was taken.

February 20, 3:12 p.m. — Personnel responded to an area south of Interstate 84 near milepost 78 on a report of a smoke investigation. Upon arrival a controlled burn was spotted with an occupant watching the fire, no problem was found.
February 20, 5:55 p.m. — Personnel responded to the 500 block of West 3rd Place on a report of a chimney fire. Upon arrival, the fire was out and the homeowner advised no assistance was needed. Staff advised subject to have the chimney inspected and cleaned.
Personnel also responded to one call for emergency medical services.

A second-degree theft report was taken Wednesday morning from the 200 block of East 3rd Street, incident is under investigation.
Police responded to the 500 block of East 11th Street Wednesday morning on a report of telephonic harassment. Victim reported a male subject continues to call after being told not to. Contact was made with the suspect via phone and he was advised to stop calling or face criminal charges; suspect complied.
A criminal mischief report was taken Wednesday morning from the 2700 block of West 7th Street after a victim reported someone threw a rock at her bedroom window the previous day.
A second-degree burglary report was taken Wednesday morning from the 2200 block of West 7th Street after a victim reported someone broke into their storage unit while they were out of town for several months.
Police responded to the area of West 7th and Hostetler streets Wednesday afternoon on a report of a wanted subject. Deputy attempted to make contact with the subject but he fled from them and was later caught at West 8th and Chenowith Loop streets. An agency assist report was taken.
Thomas Melford Phelps, 45, 705 Division St., was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 500 block of West 3rd Place and is accused of harassment and interference with a police officer.
A theft report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the middle school after a victim reported theft of a cell phone.
Andrew Lloyd Smith Johannes, 35, 510 East 13th St., was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of violation of a restraining order, probation violation, and first-degree burglary.
Police responded to the 800 block of Richland Court Wednesday afternoon on a report of a disturbance. Caller reported two juvenile females were pushing his son and causing problems. Suspects were gone prior to officer arrival. Caller was advised of steps to trespass subjects if they come back.
Police responded to the 3200 block of Brett Clodfelter Way Wednesday evening on a report of suspicious activity. Caller reported several male subjects gathered by a store talking about withdrawing money from a credit card that was not theirs. One male was seen with a large sum of money in his hands. The area was checked but the suspects were not located.
Jeremy Edward Adams, 23, 3817 West 10th St. No. 43, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 700 block of Chenowith Loop Road and is accused of interference with a police officer, third-degree escape, and second-degree attempted criminal mischief. He was also arrested on two circuit court warrants for violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.
