Police responded to the 1200 block of West 6th Street Thursday morning on a report of a hit and run. Witness observed a vehicle strike another and leave the scene without leaving their information. Victim was contacted and no damaged was observed on the truck. The suspect was contacted at his home and counseled on performing mandatory duties as a driver.

A hit and run report was taken Thursday morning from the 2600 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported his vehicle was struck in a parking lot in the area a few days prior to reporting.

Police responded to West 11th and Liberty streets Thursday afternoon on a report of juvenile subjects throwing rocks at another juvenile. Contact was made with the suspects who advised they were just playing hacky sack, no problem was found.

Police responded to the 300 block of East 3rd Street Thursday afternoon on a report of a bomb threat. Caller reported a female came into their building and said someone put a bomb in the office and left. It was determined she had done this at several business. She was contacted, cited and released for second-degree disorderly conduct.

Nicholas Michael Lowe, 31, 1300 East 14th St., was arrested Thursday afternoon in the 1200 block of West 6th Street and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal trespass.

Cimmeron Bryan Tufti, 35, 2730 Old Dufur Rd., was arrested Thursday evening in the 500 block of West 9th Street on a circuit court warrant for failure to appear and a municipal court warrant for probation violation.

A runaway report was taken Thursday evening from the 800 block of East 14th Street. The mother called later in the evening to report the child had returned home; juvenile was removed from the system.

A theft report was take early Friday morning from the 2900 block of East 2nd Street after a paper delivery person reported two paper boxes on his route were stolen.

Wasco County

Deputy responded to the 3600 block of West 13th Street Thursday afternoon after a victim reported someone attempted to break into her vehicle, damaging it. Victim declined to have a report taken and advised they would investigate it themselves.

Oregon State Police

A female driver was cited and released for open container and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana Thursday morning during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 74.

Trooper responded to Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 87 Thursday afternoon after it was reported there was an obstruction in the roadway. A large trap was removed from the road and taken back to the office for safekeeping.
