Officer zapped with stun gun

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — A man accused of turning an officer’s stun gun against him during a struggle outside a bar was arraigned Monday on four charges.

Jessie Alexander Wright’s mother and friends said he was not resisting arrest Friday night and should not have been treated so roughly. They said he suffered a major seizure, likely triggered by stress, during the arrest, and that officers mistook his involuntary spasms for resistance.
