February 23, 1:50 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 300 block of East 8th Street. Officer assisted with information exchange; no report taken.

February 23, 2:18 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 2600 block of West 6th Street. Caller reported a vehicle parked next to theirs damaged it but when officer arrived they advised no assistance was needed.

February 25, 10:23 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, West 7th and Hostetler streets. Officer assisted with information exchange, no report or citations issued.

Wasco County

February 22, 9:00 a.m. – Single vehicle, injury accident, 5000 block of Cherry Heights Road. Cedrienna Dixon, 40, The Dalles was the involved driver. Dixon was driving fast and lost control on the road causing the vehicle to hit several reflectors and fencing. She was taken to the hospital by family members and a report was taken.

February 22, 7:11 p.m. – Single vehicle, injury accident, Cherry Heights and Sandlin Roads. Brianna Delatorre, 16, The Dalles, was the involved driver. Delatorre drove on the soft shoulder and overcorrected and went off the road. She was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle; a report was taken.

February 22, 11:18 a.m. – Fire crews responded to a report of two unattended burn complaints on Highway 197 between mileposts 1 through 5. The area was searched extensively but nothing was found.

February 25, 1:30 p.m. – Personnel was dispatched to a smoke investigation south of Interstate 84 near milepost 79. Upon arrival an unattended open burn was located. Contact was made with the property owner and who was advised to make sure the fire was monitored.

February 25, 6:36 p.m. – Personnel was dispatched to a burn complaint in the 4100 block of Chenowith Road. Upon arrival a small burn pile was located near a home but was being monitored. The homeowner was counseled on the burn regulations and the fire was extinguished.

Personnel also responded to four calls for emergency medical services on Friday, eleven on Saturday, seven on Sunday and eight on Monday.

The Dalles City

Police responded to the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street Friday morning on a report of a theft. Employee advised a male suspect put a cell phone accessory in their pants and left the store. The area was checked but no subject was found matching the description. The incident was logged.

Police responded to the 900 block of West 6th Street Friday morning on a report of a theft. Victim reported a female subject took some money from him forcefully but during the interview he decided to not pursue charges.

Police responded to the 300 block of Federal Street Friday morning on a report of a theft of newspaper boxes. Employee advised two newspaper boxes around town have been stolen. A report was taken.

Police responded to the 1500 block of Jefferson Street Friday afternoon on a report of a hit and run. Victim reported a vehicle clipped his and left without stopping; however he did not wish to file a report just have the suspect counseled if found.

A theft report was taken Friday afternoon from the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street after an employee reported a female suspect left the store without paying for items. Another employee contacted the officer to report a theft that occurred the previous day and a separate report was taken.

Nicholas Michael Lowe, 31, no listed address, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 1200 block of West 6th Street and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal trespass.

Police responded to the 3500 block of East 2nd Street Friday evening on a report of a traffic hazard as an abandoned vehicle was left in an unsafe spot. The vehicle was towed and a report was taken.

Police responded to the 600 block of West 14th Street Friday evening on a report of several juvenile skateboarding on school grounds. Officer checked the area but no juveniles were located on the property engaging in that activity.

Police responded to the 1700 block of East 9th Street Friday evening on a report of a fight. Caller reported two male subjects were physically fighting. Contact was made with the two subjects who were both intoxicated. Neither subject wished to pursue charges. One of the subjects was cited for minor in possession of alcohol.

Police responded to the 900 block of West 11th Street Friday evening on a report of telephonic harassment. Caller reported a male subject continues to call her after being told to stop. Telephone contact was made with the suspect who lived out of town. He was told to stop calling or face criminal charges; he advised he would do so.

Police responded to the 1700 block of East 10th Street Friday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. Contact was made with the two females involved who advised the fight was only verbal. They were warned of their conduct.

Police responded to the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street early Saturday morning on a report of a suspicious subject. Caller reported a female subject was asking customers for money in the parking lot. Contact was made with the subject who advised her vehicle had broken down and was asking for money to assist. She was warned of her conduct and she moved on.

Police responded to East 3rd and Union streets early Saturday morning on a report of a male subject in the roadway. Police contacted the intoxicated male subject near his home and he was counseled against walking in the road.

Police responded to the 900 block of West 11th Street Saturday morning on a report of a vehicle prowl. Victim reported his vehicle was rummaged through overnight and had some items missing; the incident was logged.

Police responded to the 600 block of West 2nd Street Saturday morning on a report of a suspicious subject. Subject was acting strangely in the area causing folks visiting the park to leave. Suspect was contacted and asked to move along.

Police responded to the 2100 block of West 6th Street Saturday afternoon on a report of a domestic dispute. Contact was made with the male and female subjects who were having a verbal argument over the male having a handgun inside the vehicle. Male agreed to put the gun in the trunk to keep the peace.

Police responded to the 300 block of West 3rd Street Saturday afternoon after a caller reported a male subject bent a license plate of a vehicle in the area. Nicholas Michael Lowe, 31, no listed address, was arrested and accused of third-degree criminal mischief. The regional jail would not intake Lowe as he needed medical attention for a leg injury; he was then cited and released.

Police responded to the 300 block of East 12th Street Saturday afternoon on a report of a disturbance. Caller reported a male subject was pounding on doors in the area. Contact was made with the subject who advised he was looking for an adult subject who may be having relations with his juvenile daughter. Subject was warned of his conduct and given his options of filing a complaint regarding the issue.

A found property report was taken Saturday evening from the 1900 block of West 6th Street after a ladder was found in the road.

Nicholas Michael Lowe, 31, no listed address, was arrested Saturday evening in the 300 block of East 2nd Street and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass.

Michael Jacob Phillips, 31, Goldendale, was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop in the 900 block of East 2nd Street on a Klickitat County warrant for being a fugitive from the state of Washington.

Police responded to the 1700 block of East 15th Street Saturday evening on a report of a suspicious subject. Caller stated a subject was knocking on their door for the last few minutes and would not leave. The area was searched but no subject was found.

Police responded to the 1600 block of Nevada Street Saturday evening on a report of a subject hiding in the bushes in the area. Police searched the area but no subject was located.

A hit and run report was taken Saturday evening at West 10 and Pomona streets.

Mecho Angel Olvera, 25, 409 East 8th St., was arrested early Sunday morning during a traffic stop on East 8th and Laughlin streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Daniel J. Goldberg, 23, 318 West 16th St., was arrested early Sunday morning during a traffic stop in the 100 block of East 4th Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Police responded to the 800 block of Hostetler way early Sunday morning on a report of a fight. Contact was made with the two males involved who advised there was mutual physical contact but neither wished to pursue charges for harassment. They were warned of their conduct.

An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and first-degree theft reports were taken Sunday afternoon from the 600 block of East 14th Street after a victim reported someone entered their vehicle and took some items.

An agency assist report was taken Sunday afternoon from the 900 block of East 11th Street after Troutdale police requested a local officer standby as they did an interview with a suspect in a domestic case. Suspect was taken into custody by Troutdale officers.

Kimberly Kaye Hawkins, 36, 1219 East 12th St., was arrested Sunday evening in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of third-degree theft.

Police responded to the 2700 block of Old Dufur Road Sunday evening on a report of an assault. Victim reported a male suspect punched him several times in the mouth causing a cut on his lip. Victim refused to pursue charges just wanted the incident logged.

Police responded to the 200 block of West 12th Street Sunday evening on a report of an out of control juvenile. Contact was made with the parent and the juvenile who advised the incident was verbal. The juvenile was warned of her conduct.

Police responded to the 200 block of West 6th Street Sunday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. Caller advised his girlfriend is intoxicated and causing issues at the home. Both subjects were contacted and warned of their conduct. They agreed to stay in separate rooms for the night.

Kenneth Scott Nyberg, 47, 3817 West 10th St., No. 1A, was arrested early Monday morning on West 9th and Myrtle streets and is accused of unlawful possession of heroin and probation violation.

Police responded to the 1200 block of East 12th Street early Monday morning on a report of a suspicious vehicle. Caller reported a vehicle was parked in the area with two occupants and they may be doing drugs. Officer made contact with the subjects in the vehicle who advised they were sleeping in their car as they were not allowed inside a home they were attempting to stay at. The subjects and vehicle were searched and no drugs were found.

Police responded to the 200 block of West 12th Street Monday morning on a report of a incomplete 911 call. Police made contact with a female who advised she was in an altercation with her juvenile daughter in regards to moving her to Mosier. The daughter left the home prior to officer arrival to calm down. No problem was found.

Police responded to the 3300 block of West 7th Street Monday morning to assist medics with a patient who possibly overdosed on methamphetamines.

Police responded to the 400 block of East 2nd Street Monday afternoon on a report of a stolen bike being in a store. Victim stated he saw his bike in the store and wanted it back. The bike didn’t match the description he initially gave when the bike was reported stolen and he couldn’t positively identify the bike as his; incident was logged.

A theft report was taken Monday afternoon from the 2400 block of West 10th Street after a victim reported their debit card was missing.

A runaway report was taken Monday afternoon from the 1500 block of East 9th Street.

A third-degree theft report was taken Monday afternoon from the 1000 block of I Street after a victim reported some items were missing from their porch.

Police responded to the 2700 block of West 7th Street Monday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. Contact was made with two female subjects involved, one of which admitted to pushing the other. Charges were declined by the victim and they separated for the evening.

Police responded to the 1600 block of West 13th Street Monday evening on a report of a prowler. Caller reported seeing a male subject going through a building who looked like he didn’t belong there. A second-degree burglary report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Wasco County

James Thomas Brown, 30, no listed address, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 700 block of Union Street and is accused of third-degree theft.

A criminal mischief report was taken Friday afternoon in Dufur after a victim reported their vehicle was vandalized.

A first-degree burglary report was taken Friday evening after a victim reported her home was burglarized while she was gone and had several items missing.

An informational report was taken Saturday afternoon in the 900 block of Chenowith Loop Road after a caller reported she observed a deputy drive by prior to calling and a suspicious male subject put something in a mailbox and fled the area. Deputy checked the mail box and found and seized drug paraphernalia.

Deputy responded to the 7600 block of Mill Creek Road Saturday evening on a report of a domestic disturbance. Female advised she was visiting her daughter and got into a confrontation with her ex-boyfriend who has custody of their child. Both were counseled of their actions and were advised to have a third party mediator on visitation days to prevent any further issues in the future.

Deputy responded to Wamic Sunday afternoon after a caller advised a juvenile male was riding a three wheeler unsafely with a young female passenger. Contact was made after the juvenile got stuck in the mud and a report was taken and will be forwarded to the juvenile department.

Deputy responded to the 3800 block of West 10th Street after a caller advised they were being threatened. Caller reported their daughter had a friend over and the parents of the friend were making threats that they were safekeeping a runaway and she needed to be home. Deputy made contact with the caller and the mother of the juvenile and were able to work things out.

A first-degree burglary was taken early Monday morning from the 6000 block of Rowena River Road after an alarm company called to report an alarm was going off at a residence in the area. The home was checked and some items were found outside as if the alarm scared off the suspect. The items were returned inside as the owner was out of town and the home was secured. A second report of a burglarized home came in later in the morning in the area and a separate report was taken.

Deputy responded to the 4000 block of Skyline Road Monday afternoon on a report of a trespassing subject. Employer advised he fired a worker for not following directions and the subject was refusing to leave and making threats to the employer. Contact was made with both subjects and the situation was resolved. The suspect left the property without incident.

Deputy responded to 15 Mile Bridge Monday afternoon after on a report of four newspapers boxes found in the canyon. Boxes were reported stolen the previous week. The newspaper offices were notified.

Max Lynn Sigl, 56, Hood River, was arrested Monday afternoon during a traffic stop in the 3900 block of West 6th Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited and released for driving uninsured Friday evening during a traffic stop on East 20th and Dry Hollow Roads; the vehicle was impounded.

Trooper initiated a traffic stop with a vehicle Saturday evening on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 74. Two hitchhiking passengers, a male and female, admitted to being in possession of marijuana. They were cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; a report was taken.

A female driver was cited and released for driving uninsured during a traffic stop Saturday evening on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 93; the vehicle was impounded.

A male driver was cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana during a traffic stop Monday afternoon on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 117.

Sherman County

Doyle Eugene Stone, 44, 712 East 15th St., was arrested Saturday evening in Grass Valley during a traffic stop and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Gilliam County

Christopher James Gogue, 27, Portland was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 145 and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

Marcus Carl Nyseth, 54, Wishram, was arrested Sunday morning on a train near Interstate 84 at milepost 45 and is accused of first-degree criminal trespass, possession of burglars tools and unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

Regional Jail

Christopher Joe Whitney, 41, Portland, was processed at the regional jail Saturday on a circuit court commitment for probation violation.

David Joseph Fransen, 39, 3330 Old Dufur Rd. was processed at the regional jail Monday on a circuit court commitment for fourth-degree assault and harassment.

Johnnie Joe Catlin, 28, Fairview, was processed and released at the regional jail Monday on a circuit court commitment for third-degree theft.

Herbert Edward Schmidt, 81, 918 Snipes St, was processed and released at the regional jail Monday on a circuit court commitment for first-degree burglary.

Miguel Arturo Tamayo, 28, Hood River, was processed at the regional jail Monday on a circuit court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Justin Mychael Horrell, 30, 1609 East 12th St., was processed and released at the regional jail Monday on a circuit court commitment for three counts of probation violation.
