Police responded to the 2400 block of East 12th Street Tuesday morning on a report of a possible burglary in progress. Caller reported seeing two men attempting to break in to a neighbor’s home. Police found the men had permission to be there.

Police responded to the 800 block of Hostetler Way Tuesday afternoon on a report of two men fighting, one with a bat. The men told police the fight was physical but neither wished to pursue charges; both separated for the day.

Police responded to the 900 block of East 14th Street Tuesday afternoon after a caller reported some transients may be staying in the shrubs next to a residence in the area. Police located what looked to be a child’s play fort and no signs of anyone living there.

Police responded to the 100 block of West 11th Street Tuesday afternoon on a report of kids in the area doing drugs. Police contacted a male juvenile who pulled out of his pocket a marijuana pipe with residue on it. He was cited for possession of marijuana within 1000 feet of a school and released to his juvenile counselor.

A report was taken Tuesday afternoon from the police station after a victim reported someone fraudulently used her bank card to withdraw $500 from an ATM in Guatemala.

Police responded to the 3200 block of West 7th Street after a caller reported a toddler roaming the street alone. Child was returned to their home and it was reported to child services.

Police did a welfare check Tuesday afternoon in the 2700 block of West 7th Street on a man who expressed suicidal thoughts. The man was taken to the hospital voluntarily for evaluation.

Police responded to the in-lieu site Tuesday evening after a victim reported a vehicle attempted to run her over twice and then left the area. Incident is under investigation.

Jimmy James Spino, 21, 3817 West 10th St., and Kelsey Elsa Baker, 31, Celilo Village, were arrested Tuesday evening near the in-lieu site and both were accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Wasco County

A report was taken Tuesday afternoon from Dufur Park after a man reported some equipment was stolen from his vehicle.

Deputy responded to the 3800 block of West 10th Street Friday evening on a report of a disturbance. Caller reported loud yelling and screaming in a nearby home. Police found two sisters were having a fight. A social service caseworker was notified.

Oregon State Police

A man was cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana during a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 77.

A man was cited and released for driving while suspended and driving uninsured during a traffic stop Tuesday evening on Tie Plant Road and Exit 85 of Interstate 84; the vehicle was impounded.

Jason Michael Barker, 26, 2412 West 10th St., was processed at the regional jail Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for third-degree theft.

Bryce Vincent Altenhofen, 23, Clackamas, was transported Tuesday and jailed on a circuit court warrant for failure to appear.

Abraham James Hunt, 46, Warm Springs, was transportedTuesday and jailed on a Gilliam County warrant for unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

John William Holst, 33, Gresham, was transportedTuesday and jailed on a Gilliam County warrant for unlawful possession of cocaine.

Timothy Lee Dahlen, 46, Prineville, was transportedTuesday and jailed on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Jess Homer Stevens, 28, Warm Springs, was transportedTuesday and jailed on a Sherman County warrant for probation violation.

Cody Thomas Chappel, 19, Spokane, was transportedTuesday and jailed on a Sherman County warrant for probation violation.

Elizabeth Carol Miller, 39, Warm Springs, wastransported Tuesday and jailed on a Sherman County warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Andrew Richard Bowman, 33, no listed address, was transportedTuesday and jailed on a circuit court warrant for two counts of parole violation.

Siaasu Melei, 26, 220 West 7th St., was arrested Tuesday morning at his home and is accused of two counts of probation violation.

Andrew William Glen Buckles, 24, 2510 West 2nd St., No. 7, was arrested Tuesday afternoon from the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.

David Jaafe Wentworth, 21, no listed address, was arrested Tuesday afternoon at the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
