Accidents
The Dalles City
Jan. 15, 10:21 p.m. – Single-vehicle versus garage, injury crash, 2000 block of East 10th Street. Driver Christian R. Thornton, 29, 4109 Chenowith Rd. No. D-26, and his passenger were both transported to the hospital with injuries.
Wasco County
Jan. 16, 7:12 a.m. – Single-vehicle, non-injury crash, 2200 block of Steele Road. Deputy assisted with scene control until tow truck arrived.

Jan. 15, 1:16 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 2500 block of West 10th Street on a burn complaint. Residents were advised of the burning regulations and the fire extinguished.
Personnel also responded to seven calls for emergency medical services.
Police Reports
The Dalles City
An officer was in a parking lot in the 800 block of East 2nd Street Tuesday morning when he heard two gun shots to his south. The area was checked but nothing suspicious was found. No other calls came in regarding the shots.
A report was taken Tuesday morning from the 2200 block of West 9th Street after a victim reported his bike was stolen overnight.
A report was taken Tuesday morning from the 600 block of East 2nd Street after an employee advised a customized golf cart was stolen.
A report was taken Tuesday morning from the 2100 block of West 9th Street after a victim reported three of their tires were slashed overnight.
Police responded to the 200 block of West 12th Street Tuesday afternoon after a caller advised a large group of juveniles were sitting in the alley smoking marijuana. Officer advised the juveniles to move along; no drugs were found.
Police responded to the 1200 block of West 6th Street Tuesday evening on a report of a disturbance. Caller advised a man was in the area harassing and verbally threatening people. Suspect left the area prior to officer arrival.
A report was taken early Wednesday morning from the 200 block of East 2nd Street after an employee advised a lottery machine was damaged.
Wasco County
A domestic assault report was taken Tuesday morning from the 3300 block of Old Dufur Road. The incident occurred a few days earlier.
A stolen vehicle report was taken Tuesday morning from the 3300 block of West 13th Street.
Deputy responded to the 2100 block of Dry Hollow Road Tuesday evening after a caller reported hearing several gun shots in the immediate area. The area was checked and no signs of a disturbance could be located in the direction of the possible shots.
Regional Jail
Kasey Lauren Crossan, 19, 2308 East 12th St., was processed at the regional jail Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for contempt of court.
Gregory Joseph Ames, 62, 813 Hostetler Way, was processed and released from the regional jail Tuesday on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.
Jerritt James Springer, 22, 801 West 9th St., was processed at the regional jail Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for contempt of court.
Cora Fina Manaea, 27, 933 Floral Ct., was processed at the regional jail Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for two counts of first-degree criminal mistreatment.
Vincent Ray Hancock, 48, La Center, Wash., was processed at the regional jail Tuesday on a municipal court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
