A report was taken Wednesday morning from the 1100 block of Garrison Street after a caller advised she saw a person entering a vacant home in the area.

Police responded to the 1900 block of West Scenic Drive Wednesday morning after a victim reported their vehicle was prowled overnight.

Police responded to circuit court Wednesday morning on a report of a suicidal subject. A man was having suicidal thoughts after losing a court hearing. He was voluntarily taken to a counselor for evaluation.

Brandon Scott Clark, 26, 1604 Union St., was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 900 block of Liberty Street on a circuit court warrant for harassment and is also accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school.

Brandi Denise Shuman, 34, 1952 Cherry Heights Rd., was arrested Wednesday afternoon at West 9th and Lincoln streets on a circuit warrant for probation violation.

John Dean Patton, 33, 1916 East 9th St., was arrested Wednesday afternoon at East 10th and Dry Hollow streets on a municipal court warrant for fourth-degree assault.

Bridger James Leigh Grannis, 22, no listed address, was arrested Wednesday afternoon and is accused of contempt of court.

Roberto Alvarez, 29, 117 West 8th St., was arrested Wednesday afternoon in his home and is accused of driving while suspended.

Police responded to the 2800 block of West 7th Street Wednesday afternoon in the 2800 block of West 7th Street after a caller reported someone knocked on their door and when they answered the door no one was there but a 9mm bullet was left by the door.

Police responded to the 1300 block of East 9th Street Wednesday afternoon on a domestic dispute. Mother called to advise her juvenile son was upset and punching things. The youth said he was upset because his mom didn’t go to the school to get his cell phone. An officer told the youth he needed to not act out when he didn’t get his way.

Police responded to the 2100 block of East 16th Street Wednesday evening after a caller reported he stopped three juveniles from breaking into his vehicle. Officer checked the area but the kids were not located.

Police responded to the 2200 block of East 12th Street Wednesday evening after a caller reported a male was on her porch with some items that were stolen from her husband. Suspect left prior to officer arrival. Husband retrieved his property.

Michele Anne Lamb, 45, 1106 Emerson St. No. 8, was arrested early Thursday morning during a traffic stop at West 10th and Emerson streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Police responded to West 9th and Mt. Hood streets early Thursday morning after a caller reported seeing two people with flashlights looking into a vehicle. Upon arrival no suspect was found but a gas can and hose were located.

Wasco County

A search and rescue report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the Mosier area after a caller reported her friend left her home earlier in the day and has not returned yet. Subject was found safe later in the evening.

Wenda Jeanne Kelly, 50, Dufur, was arrested Wednesday afternoon during a traffic stop on West 2nd and Cherry Heights and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Deputy responded to the 1500 block of Fir Crest Road Wednesday afternoon after a victim reported their credit card had been used to buy over $1,000 at a department store. The bank detected the fraudulent charge.

A burglary report was taken Wednesday evening from the 3500 block of Browns Creek Road after a victim reported someone cut the lock to his shop and stole some tools.

An agency assist report was taken from the Mosier area Wednesday evening after helping a state trooper on a call of a disorderly subject at a group home.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited and released for driving while suspended and driving uninsured during a traffic stop Wednesday morning on East 11th and Oregon streets; the vehicle was impounded.

Chance Widner, 23, no listed address, was arrested in Mosier Wednesday evening and is accused of harassment and second-degree disorderly conduct.

Sherman County

Belinda Gutierrez De La Cruz, 25, Hermiston, was arrested Wednesday morning during a traffic stop on Highway 97 at milepost 26 on a Morrow County warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Regional Jail

Kari Ann Long, 30, Hood River, was processed at the regional jail Wednesday on a municipal court commitment for failure to appear.
