The Dalles These last three wins against Hermiston, Pendleton and Hood River have been personal.
The Dalles Wahtonka has been on a mission to put the Columbia River Conference on notice.
TDW shot 52 percent in the first half and got a jump on Hood River Valley with runs of 20-6 and 13-7 on its way to a 57-42 victory in front of a capacity crowd Friday night at Kurtz Gym in The Dalles.
“It is good to be gaining this momentum,” said TDW forward Austin Wilson. “We got a young roster with only a couple of seniors and teams aren’t expecting us to be as good as we are. We have something to prove every time we step on the court. We got a chip on our shoulders now. It is about us getting some respect.”
