Accidents

The Dalles City

Jan. 28, 6:28 p.m. – Two-vehicle, non-injury crash, East 10th and Dry Hollow roads. Natosha Rollins, 31, 2016 East 13th St. and Nicole Pashek, 60, 2401 West 13th St. were the involved drivers. Rollins was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

Wasco County

Jan. 26, 2:51 a.m. – Single-vehicle, rollover injury crash, Threemile Road. Driver was taken to hospital by another person. Driver stated he fell asleep at the wheel, going off the road and rolling the vehicle. He was transported to Portland to treat his injuries.

Jan. 26, 2:53 a.m. – Single-vehicle, rollover injury crash, Highway 97 near milepost 52. Driver information unavailable. Injured subjects were taken to hospital by family..

Oregon State Police

Jan. 26, 7:15 a.m. – Single-vehicle, rollover non-injury crash, Highway 197 near milepost 18. Brian Lee Davis, 46, Vancouver, Wash., was southbound and lost control on icy roadway causing rollover.

Personnel responded to four calls for emergency medical services Friday, nine Saturday, four Sunday and three Monday.

The Dalles City

A theft report was taken Friday morning from the 2400 block of West 6th Street after an employee advised his service truck was vandalized overnight and had some items taken.

Justin Wayne Martin, 22, 511 Liberty St., was arrested Friday afternoon during a traffic stop in the 700 block of Pleasant Court on a circuit court warrant for probation violation; he is also accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

A stolen vehicle report was taken Friday afternoon from the 2400 block of West 6th Street.

A report was taken Friday evening from the 1600 block of G Street after a victim reported two males attempted to jump him and one pulled a knife on him and cut his hand. Suspect fled prior to officer arrival.

Police responded to the 2100 block of West 6th Street Friday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. Contact was made with the man who was warned of his conduct; the woman left prior to officer arrival.

Police responded to the 2200 block of West 10th Street Friday evening on a report of a domestic disturbance. Police were told the incident was verbal. The man left for the evening.

Christopher Everett Matney, 31, no listed address, was arrested Friday evening at the hospital on a circuit court warrant for parole violation.

Police responded to the 500 block of Summit Ridge Drive early Saturday morning on a report of an open door. A garage door was found open but nothing seemed amiss. Officer shut the door and left a business card for contact.

A report was taken early Saturday morning from the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street after two women left a restaurant without paying their bill.

A report was taken Saturday morning from the 1700 block of East 11th Street after report of a fight. Police talked to the two people involved, who said there was physical contact by both. One person did pull a knife on the other during the altercation. Information will be forwarded to the city attorney for possible prosecution.

A report was taken Saturday morning from the 2100 block of West 6th Street after an employee stated a person left without paying their gas bill.

A found property report was taken Saturday afternoon from the 1000 block of West 6th Street after a bicycle was found.

Police responded to the 200 block of East 7th Street early Sunday morning on a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in a parking lot. Police contacted the subjects in the vehicle and a report was taken for minor in possession of alcohol.

Police responded to the 1100 block of East 9th Street early Sunday morning on a report of a possible party. One juvenile was cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and another was cited for minor in possession of alcohol and tobacco. Both were released to their parents.

City police responded to the 1400 block of West 2nd Street early Sunday morning on a report of a theft. Employee advised several subjects came into the store and left without paying for alcohol. A deputy located the suspect vehicle during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 86. Arrested and accused of third-degree theft are: Shadena Lee Woodward, 24, Pasco, Wash.; Natasha Kellick, 33, Bakersfield, Calif.; Tasheena Maree Woodward, 31, White Swan, Wash.; Rose Marie Castro, 26, White Salmon.

Chance Widner, 23, Mosier, was arrested Sunday morning in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of third-degree theft.

Christopher Daniel Williams, 31, Wishram, was arrested Sunday morning in the 2900 block of West 6th Street on a Yamhill County warrant for probation violation, a Clark County warrant for being a fugitive from the state of Washington. He is also accused of providing false information to a police officer.

Jason Jay James, 33, 759 Pleasant Ct. was arrested Sunday afternoon at West 9th and Chenowith Loop roads on a circuit court warrant for probation violation and is also accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Christopher William Wallace, 27, 1726 East 10th St., was arrested Sunday evening at East 3rd and Taylor streets on a circuit court warrant for probation violation, he is also accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Police responded to the 2200 block of West 6th Street Monday afternoon on a report of an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was reported stolen out of The Dalles earlier the previous week. Contact was made with the owner of the vehicle, who apparently forgot they parked it there.

A theft report was taken Monday afternoon from the 800 block of East 2nd Street after an employee advised some tools were taken from a worksite over the weekend.

A report was taken Monday afternoon from the 3200 block of Bret Clodfelter Way after an employee advised arrangements were made with a suspect to pay for gas that was pumped earlier. The suspect never showed up.

Police responded to the 2000 block of West Scenic Drive Monday afternoon on a report of a domestic dispute. Caller reported seeing a woman whose face appeared to have been beaten. Police contacted the parties, and both denied any fight or argument occurred. There were no signs of injury to the woman, though her face was red, which she stated was due to the cold weather.

A theft report was taken Monday afternoon from the 400 block of East Scenic Drive after a victim reported some money was wired out of her bank account.

A found bicycle report was taken Monday afternoon from the 2200 block of West 9th Street.

Police responded to West 6th and Pomona streets Monday afternoon on a report of a suspicious subject in the area. Police contacted the man, who appeared to be on drugs but denied using. He was asked to move along and did so.

Luis Samuel Ochoa, 29, Portland, was arrested Monday evening in the 2700 block of West 6th Street and is accused of two counts of reckless driving and driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Police responded to the 1600 block of East 11th Street Monday evening on a report of a domestic disturbance. Police contacted the parties, who said it was verbal. There were no signs of injury and they were warned of their conduct.

Police responded to the 300 block of West 6th Street Monday evening on a report of a suicidal subject. Caller stated a friend made threats to harm himself. Officers were unable to locate him.

Christine Taylor Marr, 60, Spokane, was arrested early Tuesday morning in the 300 block of Lone Pine Drive and is accused of second-degree criminal mischief.

Police responded to a business early Tuesday morning on a report of an attempted break-in. Security company called dispatch to advise an alarm had been set off at the business. Upon arrival broken glass was found at the door but it appeared that the subject did not gain entry into the building.

Wasco County

A hit and run report was taken Saturday afternoon from Taylor Lake after a victim reported a vehicle struck hers while in the area.

Daniel Y. Kim, 24, Rowena, was arrested Saturday afternoon and is accused of third-degree sexual abuse and harassment.

A theft report was taken Saturday evening from an establishment in Maupin after an employee reported two people left without paying for their bill.

An agency assist report was taken early Sunday morning from Interstate 84 eastbound at exit 87 after deputy assisted city police with an arrest of several subjects involved in a theft.

Deputy responded to the 1000 block of Irvine Street Sunday evening after a caller reported seeing a man hitting and kicking a woman. Police checked the area but found no one matching the description.

Deputy responded to the 3600 block of West 13th Street Sunday evening on a welfare check. Father advised he picked up his child from his mother’s this evening and he felt the home was unsafe for his child and another younger child living there. Deputy checked the home and the younger child appeared to be healthy and nothing suspicious was found in the home.

A theft report was taken Monday afternoon from Maupin after an establishment reported some liquor was stolen.

A theft report was taken Monday afternoon from Dufur after a victim reported he had something missing from his property.

Deputy responded to roundabout early Tuesday morning on a report of a subject screaming and causing a disturbance. Chance Widner, 23, Mosier was arrested and accused of second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, third-degree criminal mischief, menacing, and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. The jail would not intake subject due to injuries and his erratic behavior; he was cited and released for the crimes mentioned.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited for no operator’s license and driving uninsured during a traffic stop Friday morning on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 75; the vehicle was impounded.

Francene Elizabeth Deabler, 51, 2806 West 7th St. No. 11, was arrested during a traffic stop Saturday evening on East 2nd and Madison streets and is accused of driving while suspended.

Sherman County

Alfredo Rosas-Miranda, 31, Vancouver, was arrested Sunday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 103 on a Clackamas County warrant for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Regional Jail

Francis Wayne Greiner, 56, Portland, was processed at the regional jail Friday on a Sherman County court commitment for driving while suspended.

Steven Lee Burnett, 55, 1003 Court St., was processed at the regional jail Friday on a Sherman County court commitment for first-degree theft.

Corina Lynn Shockley, 49, 310 East 12th St., was processed at the regional jail Monday on a circuit court commitment for third-degree theft.

Paul David Delahanty, 58, Portland, was processed and released from the regional jail Monday on a circuit court commitment for driving while suspended.

Antonio Rafiel Madrigal, 35, Madras, was processed at the regional jail Monday on a circuit court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants and fourth-degree assault.
