Accidents

The Dalles City

July 5, 10:59 a.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, East 2nd and Jefferson streets. Diana Titus, no listed address, was the involved driver. Titus was driving a motor home and clipped a banner bracket on a light post. A report was taken.

July 5, 5:44 p.m. – Two vehicle, injury crash, West 2nd and Webber streets. Britney Gill, 24, Gresham and Travis Cooper, 25, 2800 West 7th St. No. 5 were the involved drivers. Gill was cited for improper left turn and Cooper was cited for no operator’s license and driving uninsured.

July 6, 12:42 a.m. – Single bicyclist, non-injury crash, 300 block of West 4th Street. Bicyclist crashed on an out of service sidewalk. He declined medical attention.

July 6, 1:37 p.m. – Single vehicle versus parked car, injury crash, 900 block of East 9th Street. Catherine Ann Hickman, 56, 2436 East 12th St. is the involved driver. Hickman was transported to the hospital for injuries sustained in the crash, after being released she was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

July 6, 5:09 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 800 Block of East 3rd Street. Officer assisted in information exchange.

Wasco County

July 5, 2:55 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, State Road in Mosier. Davina Craig, 39, Mosier and Peggy Kinsey, 65, Mosier were the involved drivers.

July 6, 7:20 a.m. – Single vehicle, injury accident, Highway 197 near milepost 12. Shelley Chamness, 38, 2318 East 13th St., was the involved driver. Sun coming through window caused driver to veer off the road and she overcorrected going into a ditch and rolled the vehicle. She was transported to the hospital.

Oregon State Police

July 5, 10:38 p.m. – Single vehicle, minor injury accident, Highway 197 near Shaniko junction. Simarjit Singh, 23, Manteca, Calif., lost control of his semi and struck a guardrail turning the vehicle over. He was cited for failure to maintain lane.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

July 5, 11:55 a.m. – Personnel responded to the Rowena Viewpoint on a report of a grass fire. Upon arrival a smoldering two by six fence base was located. The cause was most likely fireworks; the board was extinguished.

July 5, 7:40 p.m. – Personnel responded to Eightmile and Japanese Hollow roads on a report of a grass fire. The fire was located in the 5600 block of Eightmile Road, which was out of the service area. Ranchers had extinguished the fire.

July 6, 11:12 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1700 block of East 10th Street on a report of an oven fire. Upon arrival nothing was showing. The homeowner had already put the oven out. The area was checked around the oven to see if there was any other damage and no further issues were found.

Personnel also responded to seven calls for emergency medical services on Friday, four on Saturday, ten on Sunday and 13 on Monday.

The Dalles City

A third-degree theft report was taken Friday morning after a victim came into the police station and stated his wife stole some money from his apartment.

Gregory George Keller, 50, 702 West 10th St., was arrested Friday morning in the 3400 block of West 10th Street and is accused of third-degree sexual abuse.

An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle report was taken Friday morning from the 900 block of Laughlin Street after a victim reported someone entered their vehicle overnight and stole items.

A criminal mischief report was taken Friday afternoon from the 2400 block of West 2nd Street after an employee advised that several vehicles in the lot were damaged and had gas siphoned from them.

A dog bite report was taken Friday evening from the 100 block of Harris Street.

A criminal mischief report was taken early Saturday morning from the 300 block of Washington Street after a speed sign was pushed over.

Police responded to the 3600 block of West 8th Street Saturday morning on a report of a burglary. Victim reported someone entered his home and valuables were missing. Eric Lee Dudley, 43, 3618 West 8th St., who was the victim, was arrested on a circuit court warrant for violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.

Chrishann Mary Dudley, 39, 3618 West 8th St., was arrested Saturday afternoon in her home on a circuit court warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

An informational report was taken Saturday afternoon from the 1300 block of East 11th Street after a victim reported a neighbor got in an alteration with her about an ongoing dog problem. The suspect yelled at her and her kids and caused a disturbance in the area. The incident is under investigation.

Gustavo Bravo Aviles, 21, 3671 Fifteenmile Rd., was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop near the rodeo grounds and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and being a fugitive of INS.

Andrew George Pomiak, 27, Kennewick, was arrested early Sunday morning during a traffic stop on East 3rd and Taylor streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was also cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

William James Thew, 27, 917 Pomona St., was arrested early Sunday morning in the 1100 block of Emerson Street and is accused of interference with a police officer.

Mirasol Sedano, 20, 937 Chenowith Loop Rd., was arrested early Sunday morning during a traffic stop on Brewery Grade and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Terry Michael Barker, 56, no listed address, was arrested Monday morning at the skatepark and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass.

A harassment report was taken Monday morning from the 300 block of East 4th Street; the incident is under investigation.

Jerry Duane Vowels, 55, Dallesport, was arrested Monday morning at West 6th and Chenowith Loop streets on a Klickitat County warrant for fourth-degree assault.

A theft report was taken Monday morning from the 1300 block of West 1st Street after an employee stated a suspect dumped more garbage than he was supposed to and didn’t pay for the extra.

A death investigation report was taken Monday afternoon from the 3100 block of Old Dufur Road.

A theft report was taken Monday afternoon from the 900 block of East 12th Street after a victim reported someone stole his debit card.

A restraining order violation report was taken Monday evening from the 800 block of Richland Court.

Lorena Viveros Cruz, 20, 519 West 17th St., was arrested Monday evening at her home on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

A male juvenile was cited for minor in possession of alcohol Monday evening from the 500 block of West 17th Street.

Chester Arthur Johnson, 75, 4785 Sevenmile Rd., was arrested early Tuesday morning in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of third-degree theft.

An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle report was taken early Tuesday morning from the 2700 block of West 10th Street.

Wasco County

Craig Michael Scott, 41, Dufur, was arrested Friday afternoon in Dufur on a Clackamas County warrant for failure to appear and a Florence municipal court warrant for failure to appear.

James Omar Marsh, 61, Portland, was arrested Friday evening during a traffic stop in Maupin and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

An assault report was taken Saturday morning from Maupin after a report came in that a staff member was assaulted by a resident. The incident is under investigation.

An assault report was taken Saturday morning after a mother reported her daughter came home with marks on her arm; the incident is under investigation.

Alvin Edward Brown, 58, 1204 Irvine St., was arrested Saturday evening in the 1000 block of Irvine Street on a circuit court warrant for failure to appear.

Apolonia Sanchez Sandoval, 25, no listed address, was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop and is accused of failure to present and carry an operator’s license and being a fugitive of INS.

Gregory Ronald Cianflocco, 34, 2511 West 10th St., was arrested early Sunday morning during a traffic stop on West 2nd and Cherry Heights streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants, three counts of recklessly endangering, and first-degree forgery.

Albert Jose Vasquez, 46, Yakima, was arrested early Monday morning during a traffic stop in the 3200 block of Bred Clodfleter Way and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Victoriano Cabrera Rosagel, 28, Beaverton, was arrested Monday evening in the 3200 block of Cherry Heights Road and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct and being a fugitive of ICE.

Deputy cited two juvenile subjects Monday evening at Mayer State Park for minor in possession of alcohol.

Oregon State Police

A male suspect was cited and released for unlawful possession of bass Friday afternoon on the Columbia after he was found in possession of over 100 fish. The fish were seized.

Wildlife trooper made contact with two male subjects Friday evening on the Columbia River. One was cited and released for angling with two lines, the other was cited and released for exceeding the daily bag limit for bass; the fish were seized.

Kevin Eugene Johnson, 41, 2550 Stack Rd., was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop on Benson Road on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Elizabeth Ann Campbell, 40, Vancouver, was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop on Highway 197 near milepost 41 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and two counts of recklessly endangering.

Daniel Anthony Smythe, 37, Arlington, was arrested Sunday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, exit 88 and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines and unlawful possession of heroin. Cleve Barry Liston, 35, Arlington, was also arrested and is accused of unlawful possession of heroin, unlawful possession of methamphetamines, and possession of a controlled substance.

Trooper cited and released a male subject Monday afternoon for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana after the trooper witnessed the subject smoking marijuana in plain view on the Deschutes River.

Sherman County

Taraleika Chuntena Powell, 24, no listed address, was arrested Friday morning in Biggs Junction and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass.

Gilliam County

Austin Evans Ashenfelter, 24, Condon, was arrested Friday afternoon and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass, resisting arrest, second-degree disorderly conduct, and harassment.

Regional Jail

Patrick Arnold Lee Fick, 26, Carson, was jailed Monday on a circuit court commitment for possession of a controlled substance.

Floyd Wayne Smith, 50, 1206 East 9th St., was transported by Multnomah County and jailed Monday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.
