July 12, 8:17 a.m. – Single vehicle versus parked car, non-injury accident, East 5th and Washington streets. Vehicle rolled down hill and struck a parked car, officer assisted with information exchange. No report or citations issued.

July 12, 7:04 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury accident, 1700 block of West 6th Street. Officer assisted with information exchange; no report or citations issued.

Wasco County

July 13, 11:24 a.m. – Single vehicle, injury accident, Dufur. Joy Smith, 57, 1407 East 16th St. was the involved driver. Smith was operating a motorcycle and was attempting to negotiate a turn and went off the road. No citations issued but a report was taken.

Oregon State Police

July 12, 4:02 p.m. – Single vehicle, injury accident, Highway 197 near milepost 3. Ronald Lee Finzel, 59, Portland was the involve driver. Finzel was driving a motorcycle and hit the soft gravel on shoulder and hit an embankment causing the bike to fall over. Both Finzel and passenger were taken to the hospital for evaluation.

July 14, 12:36 a.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury accident, Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 81. Henry Douglas Buckalew, 20, Hood River was the involved driver. Buckalew fell asleep at the wheel crashing into the median. He was cited for careless driving and a report was taken.

July 15, 10:35 a.m. – Single vehicle versus wildlife, non-injury accident, Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 76. Driver hit a deer while driving through the area. No report was taken.

Personnel responded to six calls for emergency medical services on Friday, six on Saturday, six on Sunday and two on Monday.

The Dalles City

An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and theft reports were taken Friday morning from the 600 block of West 16th Street.

A second-degree burglary and first-degree theft reports were taken Friday afternoon from the 2500 block of East 14th Street after a victim reported someone broke into his garage and took items from his vehicles.

A criminal trespass report was taken Friday afternoon from the 2400 block of East 14th Street.

A theft report was taken Friday afternoon from the 2700 block of West 7th Street after a victim reported someone stole their puppy.

A burglary report was taken Friday afternoon from the 200 block of East 14th Street after a victim reported someone broke into their home and took some items.

A criminal mischief report was taken Friday afternoon from the 800 block of Hostetler Way after a victim reported their fence had been damaged.

Terry Michael Barker, 56, no listed address, was arrested Friday afternoon at the skatepark on a municipal court warrant for second-degree failure to appear. He is also accused of second-degree criminal trespass.

A criminal mischief report was taken Friday afternoon from the 1300 block of East 9th Street after a victim reported his driveway was damaged.

Antonio Duenas Jr., 25, no listed address, was arrested Friday evening in the 2700 block of West 7th Street on a municipal court warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Police responded to the 700 block of Hostetler Way Friday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. Contact was made with the victim who advised his juvenile son punched him in the face twice and threatened to harm him. The juvenile was cited for harassment and released to the parents.

Michael David Shinnick, 42, no listed address, was arrested Friday evening near West 2nd underpass and is accused of first-degree criminal trespass.

Joshua Carl Olson, 25, 2700 West 7th St. No. 72, was arrested early Saturday morning in his home on a circuit court warrant for parole violation.

Police responded to the 700 block of East 15th Street early Saturday morning on a report of a trespass. Caller reported her babysitter’s boyfriend was at the house and was not allowed to be there. The subject was verbally trespassed from the property, a report was taken.

An agency assist report was taken Saturday afternoon in the 800 block of East 2nd Street after an officer assisted state police in arresting an adult suspect.

A theft report was taken Saturday afternoon from the 600 block of West 8th Street after a mother reported her daughters bicycle was stolen.

An adult female suspect was cited and released for drinking in public and telephonic harassment Saturday evening in the 600 block of West 2nd Street.

A theft report was taken Saturday evening from Kramer Field after a victim reported a flag was stolen from the baseball field.

A male subject was cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana Saturday evening in the 600 block of East 2nd Street.

A criminal mischief report was taken Sunday morning from the 100 block of Union Street after graffiti was found on a building in the park.

John Scott Frizzell, 50, no listed address, was arrested Sunday evening in the 2100 block of West 6th Street and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass.

An adult male subject cited and released for third-degree theft early Monday morning from the 1400 block of West 2nd Street.

Sergio Alejandro Gomez Garcia, 23, 618 East 10th St., was arrested Monday evening and is accused of providing an officer with false information and being a fugitive of INS.

Bryon Melton, 49, Irrigon, was arrested Monday evening during a traffic stop in the 200 block of Webber Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Wasco County

John Scott Liming, 23, Bend, was arrested Friday evening at Sandy Beach on the Deschutes River and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct, depositing trash within 100 yards of water, boating under the influence of intoxicants and interference with a police officer.

A search and rescue report was taken early Saturday morning from Lower Twin Lakes after a subject left camp to get firewood and never returned. The subject was located with no problem other than car troubles later in the morning.

A theft report was taken Saturday evening from Clearlake Campground after a victim reported some belongings were stolen from a tent during the day.

Chad Dustin Olson, 41, Beaver Creek, was arrested Saturday evening at Clearlake Campground on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Dennis James Hester Jr., 34, no listed address, was arrested Saturday evening in the 500 block of West 9th Street and is accused of first-degree burglary. Andraya Jewell Woodruff, 22, 4109 Chenowith Rd. No. D12, was also arrested on a circuit court warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Heather Nicole Gilliland, 31, Shelby, North Carolina, was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop in Maupin and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and recklessly endangering.

Deputy responded to Maupin Sunday evening after a passing train reported seeing a body hanging from the bridge. The area was checked and nothing suspicious was located.

David Howard Hightower, 60, Antelope, was arrested Monday morning in circuit court and is accused of violation of a restraining order.

A runaway report was taken Monday afternoon from Tygh Valley.

Manuel Cervantes, 31, 316 East 10th St., was arrested Saturday afternoon at East 3rd and Madison streets and is accused of harassment, second-degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Victor Vasilyvich Sitay, 28, Clackamas, was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 85 and is accused of unlawful possession of heroin.

David James Jacobsen, was arrested early Sunday morning during a traffic stop on Brewery Grade and is accused of probation violation.

Colette Roxanna Patrick, 33, Toppenish, Wash., was arrested Monday on the Columbia River on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Matthew Lionnie Jim, 38, Wapato, Wash., was arrested Monday on the Columbia River on a circuit court warrant for failure to appear.

Sherman County

Christopher Karl Sirshup, 24, Goldendale, was arrested Monday afternoon in the Sherman County courthouse on a Sherman County warrant for third-degree theft.

Regional Jail

Donald Joseph Miller, 52, Damascus, was jailed Friday on a circuit court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Heidi Fawn Fisher Perez, 32, 2700 West 7th St. No. 32, was jailed Friday on a circuit court commitment for probation violation.

Kevin Victor Bettencourt, 59, Rocklin, Calif., was jailed Monday on a circuit court commitment for failure to appear.
