The Sherman County Fair Board is honored and thrilled to have Ed and Shirley Fritz as the 2013 Grand Marshals. Ed Fritz started his very successful 4-H showing career at the Sherman County Fair and thru the years Ed, Shirley, their kids and grand children have blessed our fair with many projects, top awards and great smiles. Please plan to drop by the Grand Marshals’ room and ask them to share a story or two.
New this year is our bull riding event. We are very excited about bringing an evening of bull riding to the Sherman County Fair. We also want to thank our title sponsor, C.H. Urness Motors, for helping bring this event to Moro. Let’s Pretend Entertainment will be joining us for some great dress up fun for all ages, make sure you catch one of the many shows they will be having.
We added a Cattle Sorting event to the Friday evening line-up and the Farm Chore course should be very entertaining on Thursday night.
Of course we will still have classic cars showing and shining during the BBQ with music from the Jaeger Bumz on Wednesday. Zac Grooms and Brewer’s Grade will get those dancing boots moving Saturday night.
Sunday brings smashed cars at the demolition derby, the FFA BBQ and 4-H & FFA Market Livestock Sale.
So is it a Special Contest, Geo-Caching, Wellness Walk, Cowboy Church or the Animal Scramble that you want to do or see? There is something for everyone so check the schedule and plan on having an awesome time!
Again the Fair Board extends a very warm welcome to everyone. Plan on joining us, along with Grand Marshals Ed & Shirley Fritts, Queen Shania Drinkwine at the 104th Sherman County Fair. Let us shake your hand and say thank you for coming! You are going to have a great time.
