The Dalles City

July 19, 11:03 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 3300 block of West 6th Street. Rod Martin, 87, 1035 Chenowith Loop Rd. and Maria Acevedo, 20, 1714 East 9th St. No. 17 were the involved drivers. Acevedo was cited for following too close and a report was taken.

July 19, 12:48 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, West 7th and Snipes streets. Jacob Smith, 38, no listed address, and Justin Troup, 22, 2700 West 7th St. No. 9, were the involved drivers.

July 22, 6:34 a.m. – Single vehicle, injury accident, 2300 block of East 2nd Street. The car driven by Carl Ray Daniel, 27, Goldendale, flipped over in the area. The subject ran from the scene and was later caught. He was transported to the hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. After release, he was arrested on an out-of-state warrant and is also accused of hit and run and unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

Wasco County

July 20, 3:00 p.m. – Two vehicle, injury crash, Highway 197 near Fred Ashley Road. Driver information was not made available at press time. Life Flight had taken one of the injured drivers to a hospital in Portland, a report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

July 20, 10:02 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, Maupin. Deputy assisted with information exchange, no report or citations issued.

July 21, 2:12 p.m. – Single vehicle, injury crash, Maupin. Daniel Cozad, 45, Maupin was the involved driver. Cozad was LifeFlighted to Portland for injuries sustained in the crash. A report was taken and the crash is under investigation.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

July 19, 9:47 p.m. – Crews responded to the 800 block of East 9th Street on a report of a grass fire. Nothing was found upon arrival. A bystander pointed the crew where the fire was as several area bystanders had extinguished the small grass fire prior to arrival. The area was mopped up. Several witnesses advised hearing a bottle rocket in the area which may have caused the blaze.

July 21, 1:02 p.m. – Crews responded to West 6th and Trevitt streets on a report of a small fire next to a power pole. The fire had been extinguished by a bystander. Investigation discovered the fire may have been started by bark chips. The area was mopped up.

Personnel also responded to three calls for emergency medical services on Friday, five on Saturday, four on Sunday and three on Monday.

Terry Robert William Morrison, 46, 2007 View Ct., was arrested Friday morning in the 800 block of East 13th Street and is accused of parole violation.

A hit and run report was taken Friday afternoon from the boat basin.

A third-degree theft report was taken Friday afternoon from the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street after staff advised a male suspect came into the store and took some alcohol. The incident is under investigation.

A dog bite report was taken Friday evening from the 800 block of East 11th Street after a mother reported their puppy bit their toddler.

Michael David Shinnick, 42, no listed address, was detained and placed at the regional jail Friday evening at West 3rd and Liberty streets for a civil detoxification.

Jacob Michael Kuhnhausen, 22, 1100 East 8th St., was arrested Friday evening in the 2600 block of River Road and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass.

Police responded to the 2600 block of River Road early Saturday morning after three juvenile subjects destroyed some fencing attempting to climb into the rodeo grounds. Two of the juveniles were arrested and placed at the juvenile detention center and accused of criminal mischief. Another was cited for criminal mischief and released to a parent.

Alana Faye Seidel, 23, 619 Trevitt St., was arrested early Saturday morning in the 800 block of Hostetler Way on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

John Scott Frizzell, 50, no listed address, was arrested Saturday morning in the 200 block of West 2nd Street and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct.

A first-degree burglary report was taken Saturday morning from the 3800 block of West 6th Street after a resident came home and their front door was open.

A theft report was taken Saturday afternoon from the 1000 block of East 9th Street after a victim reported observing a male suspect with her TV in the alley behind her home.

Randall Lance Mosqueda, 45, 1020 East 11th St., was arrested Saturday afternoon in the 600 block of West 2nd Street and is accused of probation violation.

A burglary report was taken Saturday afternoon in the 800 block of Garden Court after a victim reported someone entered their home and took some items.

David Jaafe Wentworth, 21, 2700 West 7th St., was arrested Saturday evening in his home on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Jarrod Andrew Wilson, 35, 714 Union St., was arrested Saturday evening in the 400 block of Madison Street and is accused of probation violation.

An agency assist report was taken early Sunday morning in the 3200 block of Bret Clodfelter Way after assisting state police with a traffic stop which resulted in arresting two subjects.

Siona Lagavale Fanene, 29, 1013 Pomona St. Unit B, was arrested early Sunday morning in the 3600 block of West 2nd Street and is accused of probation violation.

Corina Lynn Shockley, 50, 310 East 12th St., was arrested early Sunday morning in her home and is accused of interference with a police officer and resisting arrest.

Gabriel Michael Jim, 29, no listed address, was arrested Sunday morning in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of third-degree theft.

A hit and run report was taken Sunday afternoon from the 800 block of Cascade Street.

Gabriel Michael Jim, 29, no listed address, was arrested Sunday evening on the exit 87 overpass and is accused of third-degree theft. This incident was separate from the morning arrest.

Richard Larry Knight, 65, 1018 East 7th St., was arrested Sunday evening during a traffic stop in the 100 block of West 3rd Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Michelle Lee Navarre, 35, 1800 East 14th St., was arrested Sunday evening in the 1500 block of West 6th Street on a municipal court warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

A theft report was taken Monday morning from the 1600 block of East 10th Street after a victim reported their bicycle was stolen.

A missing persons report was taken Monday morning from the 1300 block of East 13th Place after a mother advised her adult son went camping and has not returned. She called back later in the evening advising she had phone contact with him and he is fine, he was removed from the system.

A criminal mischief report was taken Monday morning from the 3600 block of West 10th Street after staff advised some graffiti was applied to some benches on campus.

A criminal mischief report was taken Monday morning from the high school after staff reported some signs were stolen, a light was broken and some graffiti was applied on campus.

A criminal mischief report was taken Monday afternoon from the 900 block of Chenowith Road after staff advised graffiti was applied to the dugouts.

A second-degree theft report was taken Monday afternoon from the 100 block of West 1st Street after a victim reported his backpack was stolen while swimming in the area.

A theft report was taken Monday evening from the 3600 block of West 6th Street after an employee reported a utility trailer was stolen.

A runaway report was taken Monday evening from the 700 block of Richland Court.

Police responded to the 1400 block of West 6th Street early Tuesday morning on a report of a female subject walking in the roadway in front of cars. She was detained and placed on a peace officer’s hold and taken to the hospital for evaluation. A report was taken.

Wasco County

First-degree burglary and first-degree theft reports were taken Friday morning from the sheriff’s office after a victim came in to report someone broke into his home in Maupin and took some items.

Kenneth Ray Smith, 30, 1001 Pomona St. Unit A, was arrested early Saturday morning during a traffic stop at West 10th and Snipes streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

An assault report was taken Saturday morning from Tygh Valley after a victim was found unconscious. Victim stated he was involved in an altercation with some bikers and he must have been hit. The incident is under investigation.

A second-degree burglary report was taken Saturday afternoon from the 4500 block of Highway 30 after several sets of golf clubs were stolen overnight.

Martin Bivaldo Rivas, 20, 3837 Knob Hill Rd., was arrested Saturday evening in his home and is accused of menacing and unlawful use of a weapon.

Raymond Sylvester Huffstutler, 29, 1203 Emerson St., was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop in the 4100 block of Chenowith Road and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.

Staci Lynn Gerdes, 23, Vancouver, Wash., was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop in Maupin and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Jacob Rian Felt, 38, 1306 East 16th St., was arrested early Tuesday morning during a traffic stop at West 7th and Garrison streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Oregon State Police

Anthony Manuel Aguilera, 18, Yakima, Wash., was arrested Friday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 75 and is accused of violation of a restraining order.

Jimmy James Spino, 21, no listed address, was arrested Saturday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 91 on two circuit court warrants for failure to appear.

Elizabeth Virginia Labonte, 22, 409 East 8th St. was arrested early Sunday morning during a traffic stop in the 3200 block of Bret Clodfelter Way on a circuit court warrant for failure to appear and a municipal court warrant for failure to appear. She is also accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines. Sandra Sindy Campos, 33, 322 West 6th St. was also arrested and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

Tiffany Ann Secord, 32, Portland, was arrested Sunday morning during a traffic stop on Highway 197 near Highway 30 and is accused of possession of a controlled substance.

A male driver was cited and released for speeding and no operator’s license during a traffic stop Monday morning on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 93. The vehicle was impounded.

Regional Jail

Burdette Melvin Hughes, 61, Moro, was jailed Friday on a Sherman County Court commitment for contempt of court.

Randall Owen Nathan, 50, Warm Springs, was jailed Monday on a circuit court warrant for first-degree theft.

Carl Andrew Solberg, 31, 311 West 13th St., was jailed Monday on a municipal court warrant for fourth-degree assault.

Lisa Renee Menzie, 47, 4400 Browns Creek Rd. was jailed Monday on a circuit court commitment for identity theft and computer crime.

Richard Lee Williams, 29, Appleton, Wash., was jailed Monday on a circuit court commitment for third-degree theft.

David Wayne Frost, 40, Warm Springs, was jailed Monday on a Gilliam County warrant for first-degree failure to appear.
