A theft report was taken Tuesday morning from the 1100 block of Lewis Street after a bicycle was stolen.
An unlawful application of graffiti report was taken Tuesday morning from the 1200 block of Kelly Avenue after some spray paint was applied to a sidewalk in the area.
Michael James Miles Jr., 28, 5226 Cherry Heights Rd. Unit B, was arrested Tuesday morning in the 200 block of Madison Street on a circuit court warrant for parole violation. He is also accused of first-degree criminal trespass and interference with a police officer.
Police responded to the 2700 block of East 2nd Street Tuesday afternoon after a suspect fled a store with beer. The suspect later returned while the officer was on scene and returned the beer and apologized for his actions. The business did not pursue charges, the suspect was counseled.
Barbara Ruth Hartman, 56, no listed address, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 800 block of West 2nd Street and is accused of negotiating a bad check and second-degree theft.
A second-degree criminal mischief report was taken Tuesday afternoon from the 600 block of Union Street after a victim reported a rock was thrown through a window.
A citizen’s complaint report was taken Tuesday evening from the 1100 block of Cherry Heights Road after a victim reported a vehicle attempted to run him or her off the road. The incident is under investigation.
Richard Lee David, 43, 2113 East 12th St., was arrested Tuesday evening at West 10th and Garrison streets on a circuit court warrant for two counts of first-degree failure to appear.
A burglary report was taken Tuesday evening from the 1800 block of Minnesota Street.
Tiffany Maria Barajas, 19, 1201 Eric Ct. No. 1, was arrested early Wednesday morning in West 9th and Trevitt streets and is accused of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
Police responded to the 2100 block of West 7th Street early Wednesday morning on a report of a stabbing. Upon investigation it appears two people were cut with a knife, one fled from the scene. Several subjects were interviewed and the stories didn’t match up. The incident is under investigation.
A theft report was taken Tuesday morning from the Clear Lake campground after a victim reported some camping gear was stolen over the weekend.
Thomas Zolton Torok, 52, Mosier, was arrested Tuesday evening during a traffic stop in Mosier and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
An accident report in the July 30 issue of the Chronicle incorrectly stated Julie Reynolds was involved in a two-vehicle accident. It was a one-motorcycle accident, and she was not involved. The motorcyclist said Reynolds had her brights on and he couldn’t see a skateboarder in the road, who he struck before crashing his motorcycle. The skateboarder left the scene and the motorcyclist, who injured his wrist, declined medical help. No citations were issued to Reynolds. The Chronicle regrets the error.
