Letter to the Editor: We're still here

We’re still here

To the editor: Evidently, the word around town is that Catlink has closed its doors. This is untrue.

We no longer have a shelter to lodge adoptable cats, but we are still trapping and fixing strays and ferals. We do not do personal pets.

The past few weeks, several of our volunteers had personal situations come up that prevented us from holding several clinics, but we are still here to serve the community in controlling the feral cat population.

There is always a need for more volunteers. The more help we have, the more we can get done.

Donations of humane traps and pet carriers are always appreciated. And, please, if you borrow from us, please call so we can pick up traps, etc. Do not donate them to resale shops. We cannot afford to replace them when we survive solely on donations. Our limited funds are better used to spay cats.

If you have any questions, please call me.
