Accidents

The Dalles City

June 7, 6:42 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 3900 block of West 6th Street. Officer assisted with information exchange, no citations or report taken.

June 10, 11:56 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 800 block of East 2nd Street. Officer assisted with information exchange, no citations or report taken.

June 10, 4:34 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 1100 block of West 2nd Street. Officer assisted with information exchange, no citations or report taken.

Wasco County

June 8, 10:39 p.m. – Two boats, non-injury crash, Columbia River. Two boats collided in the water causing them to sink. All occupants were able to exit the boats before they sank.

Rescue

June 7, 12:27 p.m. - Personnel responded to the 2500 block of West 8th Street on a report of a mobile home fire. Upon arrival fire and smoke were observed from under the home. The fire was extinguished and there was no fire damage inside the home’s main living areas. The cause of the fire is unknown and is under investigation.

June 7, 7:03 p.m. – Personnel responded to Highway 14 near Cloudville on an agency assist for a large grass fire. Units were put on structure protection in the Cloudville area. The grassfire burned 500 acres. Units cleared several hours later.

June 9, 10:20 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 6000 block of Highway 30 on a report of a possible grass fire. Upon arrival a small attended open burn was found. The property owner was advised of the total burn ban and told to extinguish the fire.

June 10, 12:47 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 5000 block of Cherry Heights on a report of a small grass fire. While units were en-route the fire had significantly spread and the fire was upgraded. The fire was put out with assistance of other area agencies. The fire may have been caused by a running vehicle that was parked in the grass.

Personnel also responded to nine calls for emergency medical services on Friday, six on Saturday, five on Sunday and nine on Monday.

The Dalles City

A report was taken Friday morning from the 500 block of West 3rd Street after a victim reported her windshield was smashed.

A report was taken Friday afternoon from the police station after a dog owner advised their vet found BBs lodged in their dog during a checkup.

A hit and run report was taken Friday afternoon from the 2600 block of West 6th Street.

A death investigation report was taken Friday afternoon from the 1300 block of West 2nd Street.

A second-degree theft report was taken Friday afternoon from the 300 block of East 12th Street after a victim reported items were taken from her property.

A runaway report was taken early Saturday morning from the 1700 block of East 10th Street. The juvenile returned home later Saturday morning and was removed from the system.

Police responded to the 2600 block of West 6th Street Saturday afternoon on a report of a juvenile shoplifter. The suspect was cited for third-degree theft and released to his parents.

Police responded to the high school Saturday afternoon on a report a canister of drugs was located after graduation. The canister was seized and destroyed.

A stolen property report was taken Saturday evening after a victim reported she lost her credit cards and driver’s license while visiting The Dalles earlier in the day.

A theft report was taken Saturday evening from the 1100 block of Emerson Street after a victim reported her wallet was stolen.

Jenny Marie Blake, 36, 422½ West 14th St., was arrested early Sunday morning in her home on a municipal court warrant for contempt of court.

Police responded to East 19th and Dry Hollow streets early Sunday morning on a report of a female being assaulted by a male. Contact was made with the two subjects who advised they were messing around and no harm was being done.

A first-degree burglary report was taken Sunday morning from the 3200 block of West 7th Street.

Unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and theft reports were taken Sunday afternoon from the 1800 block of East 15th Street after a victim reported their vehicle was entered overnight and items were missing.

Police responded to the 400 block of East 15th Place Sunday afternoon on a report of a domestic disturbance. Contact was made with both subjects who advised the fight was verbal. The female was trespassed from the property and advised to leave.

A burglary report was taken Sunday afternoon in the 1200 block of East 9th Street after a victim reported someone entered their home and stole some items.

A robbery report was taken early Monday morning from the boat basin after a caller reported a male subject attempted to block in their vehicle and was seeking money. The suspect fled the area prior to officer arrival.

A lost property report was taken Monday morning from the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street.

A second-degree child neglect report was taken Monday morning from the 700 block of Union Street after a caller reported a toddler was left unattended in a vehicle for a half hourThe suspect parent left with child prior to officer arrival.

A criminal mischief report was taken Monday afternoon from the 700 block of West 18th Street after a victim reported their vehicle tires were slashed overnight.

A theft of services report was taken Monday afternoon from the 2100 block of West 6th Street after an employee reported a suspect left the station without paying for gas.

Wasco County

Deputy responded to the 5700 block of Highway 30 early Saturday morning on a report of loud noise. A subject was cited for minor in possession of alcohol and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Jeff Lee Amonson, 53, 1305 E. 15th St., was arrested early Saturday morning during a traffic stop in the 700 block of east 14th Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

A harassment report was taken Saturday afternoon from Tygh Valley after a mother advised her son pushed her during an altercation.

Deputy responded to Mosier Saturday evening after a caller reported a vehicle came onto his property and the male passenger got out and started taking pictures. The driver got out and was holding a pistol. Suspects fled when the caller came out of the house.

Deputy responded to the 1100 block of Murray Drive early Sunday morning on a report of a suicidal subject. Subject was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

A runaway report was taken Sunday evening from the 6300 block of Cherry Heights.

A runaway report was taken Sunday evening from the Dufur area.

Deputy responded to the 3800 block of West 10th Street Monday morning on a report of an out of control juvenile subject. Mother advised her juvenile daughter broke some items in the home. The juvenile was arrested and accused of interference with making a report and resisting arrested; she was lodged at the juvenile detention facility.

Deputy responded to the regional jail Monday afternoon after staff advised an inmate was claiming a corrections officer assaulted him.

Deputy responded to Tygh Valley Monday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. Contact was made with both subjects whose stories were completely different. Both were given citations for harassment and warned of their conduct.

Oregon State Police

Angela Rae Amonson, 51, 1305 East 15th Street, was arrested early Saturday morning during a traffic stop on East 2nd and Jefferson streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Sherman County

George Veloz, 29, Wasco, was arrested in his home Saturday evening and is accused of two felony counts of fourth-degree domestic assault.

Regional Jail

Johnathan Paul Ancheta, 32, Celilo Village No. 1, was booked and released Friday on a circuit court commitment for contempt of court.

Edwin Duane Clark, 59, Portland, was jailed Friday on a Sherman County warrant for unlawful possession of marijuana.

Blain Roger Poirier, 43, Wasco, was jailed Friday on a Sherman County warrant for four counts of contempt of court.

Eunice Spino, 45, Lyle, was jailed Monday on a circuit court commitment for third-degree theft, contempt of court, and driving while suspended.

Miguel Garcia Rodriguez, 40, Mosier, was jailed Monday on a circuit court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Sam Mac Billy Espirito, 25, Wapato, Wash., was booked and released Monday on a circuit court commitment for a misdemeanor wildlife offense.

Parole and Probation

Toni Jean Cribbs, 31, 763 Hostetler Way, was arrested Friday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.

Christopher Zoey Schwarzbach, 18, 700 West 18th St., was arrested Friday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.

Richard Neal Credille, 27, 604 West 12th St., was arrested Friday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
