Kids’ cycling classic set at Water’s Edge

Mid-Columbia Medical Center and Breakaway Promotions host host the 2013 Mt. Hood Cycling Classic Kid’s Race at Waters Edge Health and Wellness this Saturday, June 15.

The event is open to kids 12 years old down to training wheels.

Kids will have the opportunity to race in one- year age increments both boys and girls. In addition to the kids’ bike race, a full skills course will be setup for the little bikers to test their balance and agility prior to their race.

The race is free to all and includes bike and helmet safety checks, kid’s shirt, and Mt. Hood Cycling Classic water bottle.

Registration opens at 3 p.m. in front of Water’s Edge and racing will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the tikes on trikes.

Medals will be given to the top three in each age division and ribbons for all.
