Accidents

The Dalles City

June 12, 1:46 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 600 block of East 2nd Street. Officer assisted with information exchange, no citations or report taken.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

June 12, 10:28 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 300 block of West 6th Street on a report of a smoke odor coming from an apartment. Nothing observed upon arrival. A musty smell was noticed, due to a recent water leak in the apartment. No smoke odor was detected.

Personnel also responded to four calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

Natasha Marie Short, 31, 1721 East 12th St. No. 12, was arrested Wednesday morning in her home and is accused of criminal non-support.

Angela Rae Fowler, 43, 757 Chenowith Loop Rd., was arrested Wednesday afternoon in her home and a circuit court warrant for unlawful possession of methamphetamines and endangering the welfare of a minor.

James Foy Routh II, 41, 1521 East 13th St., was arrested Wednesday afternoon during a traffic stop in the 500 block of West 9th Street on a circuit court warrant for unlawful delivery of methamphetamines within 1000 feet of a school, unlawful delivery of methamphetamines, and unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

He is also accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines. Roxanne Lavonne Klaviter, 48, 3525 Fax Rd., was also arrested during the stop and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

An informational report was taken Wednesday evening from East 4th and Court streets after a toddler was found wandering in the area alone. Investigation discovered the toddler was left in the care of two eight year old females and wandered off. The child was taken into protective custody by child services.

Police responded to the 1700 block of West 6th Street early Thursday morning on a report of a trespassing subject. Employee advised there was a male subject sleeping in the lobby and would not leave. Subject was trespassed from the restaurant and a bicycle he was riding was impounded. A report was taken.

Wasco County

A burglary report was taken Wednesday evening from the 5700 block of Cherry Heights Road after a victim reported their rear door was forced open and a safe was taken from the home.

Jacob Daryl Spalding, 21, Lyle, was arrested Wednesday evening during a traffic stop on Highway 197 and Lone Pine Drive and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Oregon State Police

Troopers seized a drift boat Wednesday morning on the Warms Springs reservation which was subject of an investigation involving the possession of stolen property.

Parole and Probation

Kyle Brian Long, 25, 2700 West 7th St., was arrested Wednesday morning in his home and is accused of probation violation.

Daniel Lee Jackson, 63, 1416 East 10th St., was arrested Wednesday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of two counts of probation violation and one count of parole violation.
