Wasco County

June 18, 4:54 p.m. – Single vehicle, injury roll over crash, Highway 30 near Rowena. Driver information was not available at press time. Female driver was changing a station on the vehicle radio when she veered off the road and over-corrected causing the vehicle to roll. She sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention.


Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

June 18, 12:44 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1700 block of West 10th Street on a service call. Staff reported a child had been accidentally locked in a bathroom. Crew assisted with removal of the bathroom door and the child was removed safely.

Personnel also responded to nine calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

A theft report was taken Tuesday morning from the 500 block of East 4th Street after a victim reported two bikes were taken from their property.

A theft report was taken Tuesday afternoon from the 500 block of East 3rd Street after a business owner was reviewing tapes from several days prior and observed a theft had taken place; the incident is under investigation.

Christopher Everett Matney, 31, 1025 Sevenmile Hill Rd., was arrested Tuesday evening in the 1300 block of West 6th Street on a circuit court warrant for parole violation, false information to a police officer, carrying a concealed weapon, and felon in possession of a restricted weapon.

Nathaniel Thaddeus Riley, 42, 3564 East 2nd St. Unit 4-A, was arrested Tuesday evening in his home and is accused of fourth-degree assault. He was also arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Wasco County

A hazard tow report was taken Tuesday morning from Highway 218 and Cold Camp roads after a vehicle was abandoned and left for several weeks.

Luis Miguel Navarro, 20, 4109 Chenowith Rd. Unit E14, was arrested in the 3600 block of West 13th Street on a circuit court warrant for two counts of probation violation.

Deputy responded to the 3800 block of West 10th Street Tuesday evening on a report of a domestic disturbance. Caller reported a male juvenile had pulled the phone out of the wall. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Oregon State Police

A male subject was cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana Tuesday evening from the 3200 block of Bret Clodfelter Way.

Sherman County

Tracy Lee Oakes, 45, Condon, was arrested at his home Tuesday evening and is accused of felony fourth-degree assault.

Regional Jail

Samantha Jean Roettger, 24, Waldport, was jailed Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for contempt of court.
