June 19, 3:09 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, West 2nd and Liberty streets. Officer assisted with information exchange, no report or citations issued.

The Dalles City

An assault report was taken Wednesday morning from the 1700 block of West 10th Street after a caller reported two male subjects were physically fighting. Contact was made with the victim who had sustained a broken nose. Victim was not cooperative with law enforcement. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and the incident is under investigation.

An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle report was taken Wednesday morning from the 1700 block of East 9th Street.

A found bicycle report was taken Wednesday morning at the police station after someone brought in a bicycle that was found at a local park; the bike was placed in impound.

A death investigation report was taken Wednesday morning from the 1700 block of East 12th Street.

A violation of a restraining order report was taken Wednesday afternoon at the police station after a victim came in to report an incident that occurred earlier in the day; the incident is under investigation.

John Dean Patton, 34, 1916 East 9th St., was arrested Wednesday evening in the 2700 block of West 7th Street and is accused of harassment and violation of a restraining order.

A criminal mischief report was taken Wednesday evening from the 500 block of Liberty Street after a rental company advised they were repossessing some property and it was damaged.

A hit and run report was taken Wednesday evening from the 600 block of West 10th Street.

John Scott Frizzell, 50, no listed address, was arrested early Thursday morning in the 500 block of Mt. hood Street on a municipal court warrant for failure to appear.

Wasco County

Brian Steven Hayes, 53, Spokane, was arrested Wednesday evening during a traffic stop in the 900 block of East 2nd Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Amy Diane Ellis, 39, 1505 Thompson Street, was arrested early Thursday morning during a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Bargeway Road and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

William Albert Welch, 43, 905 East 12th St., was arrested early Thursday morning during a traffic stop in the 900 block of East 3rd Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Sherman County

Philip Troy Vernon, 47, Sandpoint, Idaho, was arrested Wednesday afternoon during a traffic stop on Highway 97 southbound, milepost 10 and is accused of failure to present and carry an operator’s license, resisting arrest, and second-degree disorderly conduct.

Regional Jail

Jason Wesley Magill, 38, 2520 Seven Mile High Rd., was jailed Wednesday on a circuit court commitment for probation violation.

Paul Warren Roys, 35, Corvallis, was transported by Multnomah County and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a Gilliam County warrant for probation violation.

Michael Grant Kennard, 45, Boise, Idaho; was transported by Multnomah County and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for second-degree robbery and an out of state warrant for being a fugitive from the state of Idaho.

Ira James Arquette, 41, Wapato, Wash., was transported and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for parole violation.
