Mid-Columbia Fire &
June 27, 2:24 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1300 block of Trevitt Street on a report of a cooking stove fire. Incorrect address was given by caller and responders went to wrong address. The correct unit was located and no flames or smoke were showing. Homeowner had turned oven on and didn’t realize there was food already in it. The oven was turned off and fire was extinguished.
Personnel also responded to two calls for emergency medical services.

A criminal mischief report was taken Thursday afternoon from the 1200 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported a vehicle was keyed.
Tamara Marie Bragg, 46, 805 Court St. No. 5, was arrested Thursday afternoon in her home and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct.
A second-degree theft report was taken Thursday afternoon from the 900 block of H Street after a caller reported his pet turtle stolen from his yard.
Dennis Clayton Bradley, 54, 1308 East 9th St., was arrested Thursday evening during a traffic stop in the 1200 block of West 6th Street and is accused of hit and run, driving under the influence of intoxicants, and unlawful possession of methamphetamines. He was also cited for driving while suspended.
Matthew Michael Oaks Geary, 29, 510 Union St., was arrested Thursday evening in his home and accused of fourth-degree domestic assault.
Russell Allen Littleton, 44, no listed address, was arrested early Friday morning in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street on a circuit court warrant for probation violation. Michael James Miles Jr., 28, 5226 Cherry Heights Rd. Unit B, was also arrested and is accused of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of methamphetamines, and parole violation.
Police responded to East 3rd and Court streets early Friday morning on a report of a male subject taking his clothes off near the police station and urinating on the building. Contact was made with the suspect who was cited for second-degree disorderly conduct.
A theft report was taken Thursday morning from the 3800 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported building materials were taken from his ranch.
A theft report was taken Thursday morning from Maupin after a park manager advised several money boxes and shower stalls had been broken into and money was removed.
Deputy responded to the 2200 block of Dry Hollow Road Thursday evening on a report of a subject shot with a gun. Contact was made with the victim who accidently shot himself in the knee while shooting at birds with a pellet gun. A report was taken.
