Personnel responded to four calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

Police responded to the 300 block of Lone Pine Lane Wednesday morning on a welfare check. Caller advised there was a subject sleeping in a vehicle in the parking lot. Officer checked the area but the vehicle was gone.

Animal control responded to the 1500 block of East 9th Street Wednesday morning on a report of a dog at large. The dog was located and returned to its owner who was warned about having the dog roam free. An informational report was taken.

A hit and run report was taken Wednesday morning after a victim called in to report their vehicle was damaged at an unknown time.

A theft report was taken Wednesday morning from the 3100 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported a stereo was taken from their vehicle within the last several days.

Tammy Gay McClain, 48, no listed address, was arrested Wednesday afternoon at West 6th and Division streets on a municipal court warrant for contempt of court.

An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the 1700 block of East 11th Street after a victim reported someone entered their vehicle overnight and took some items.

Jenny Marie Blake, 36, 422½ West 14th St., was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 1200 block of West 6th Street and is accused of providing false information to a police officer.

Police responded to the 800 block of East 14th Street Wednesday evening after a caller reported seeing flashes of light in a vacant home. Officers made contact with a construction worker who advised he was doing some work on the home. His paperwork was checked and no problem was found.

Police responded to the 800 block of East 13th Street Wednesday evening on a report of a dispute. Contact was made with the subjects involved and they said the argument was verbal. Subjects were warned of their conduct and one left for the evening.

Police responded to the 2800 block of West 7th Street Wednesday evening on a report of a disturbance. Caller reported hearing a young female screaming in another apartment. Contact was made with the mother and grandmother who advised her juvenile daughter was yelling because she didn’t want to go to bed.

Police responded to the In-lieu site early Thursday morning on a report of loud music coming from a vehicle. Contact was made with the subject who was warned to keep his music down. He agreed to do so.

Police responded to the 1200 block of East 12th Street early Thursday morning on a report of a trespassing subject. Contact was made with the suspect a few blocks away and he was warned that if he returned to the victim’s property he could be arrested.

Wasco County

Thomas Earl Smith, 38, Eugene, was arrested Wednesday evening at the regional jail on circuit court warrants for two counts of failure to appear.

A criminal mischief report was taken Wednesday evening from the 7500 block of Skyline Road after a property owner advised a hinge on a gate onto his property was damaged.

Deputy responded to Maupin Wednesday evening on a report of a disturbance. Staff advised they had a resident who was intoxicated and causing issues. Contact was made with the subject who agreed to stay away from the rest of the residents for the evening.

Parole and Probation

Michael Lee Goforth, 51, 4109 Chenowith Rd. No. A-18, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the community corrections office on a circuit court warrant for violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.

Ray Ekepati Niko Jr., 19, 501 West 6th St., was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
