Armed to the teeth

To the editor:

A tyrannical administration? According to a recent solicitation posted on the Fed Bid website, the Department of Homeland Security is set to purchase another 21.6 million rounds of ammunition, adding to the 1.6 billion rounds already obtained over the course of the last 10 months. The solicitation asks for 10 million .40 caliber and 10 million 9mm pistol rounds. The document also lists a requirement for 1.6 million 9mm unjacketed rounds.

An approximation of how many rounds of ammunition the DHS has now secured over the last 10 months, stands at around 1.625 billion. In March 2012, ATK (Supplier of aerospace and defense products) announced they had agreed to provide the DHS with a maximum of 450 million bullets over four years.

In September last year, this federal agency purchased an additional 200 million rounds. The DHS also purchased no less than 7,000 fully automatic assault rifles, labeled as Personal Defense Weapons.

The DHS has purchased enough ammunition over the last 10 months to wage a full-scale war in Iraq for almost 30 years. The modern Democrat party, the party of the quasi-European socialist, also referred to as the new age communist party, knows they will only be able buy loyalty of a certain percentage of the people in this country. The rest are assumed to be well armed and will have to be taken by force.

A study funded by the Department of Homeland Security leaked last year, which characterizes Americans who are suspicious of centralized federal authority and support individual liberty as extreme right-wing terrorists. While Americans are being browbeaten with rhetoric from the Democrats and the mainstream media about the necessity to give up semi-automatic firearms and our 2nd Amendment rights in the name of preventing school shootings, this administration’s federal government’s private army is arming itself, to the teeth.

Lets not forget the drones, but that’s another subject.

Such massive quantities of ammunition purchases are stoking strong suspicions that the DHS is preparing for some kind of domestic unrest. The federal agency’s primary concern is being centered around thwarting so called homegrown terrorism. Civil war is most likely coming to America, like it or not. We are standing at the fork in the road to our future and as a result have become a very divided nation. You either stand for freedom and liberty or you can choose tyranny and big government. Choose wisely.

Tin Foil Hat Alert!

oh, and by the way - its not the "democrat" party any more than its the "republic" party, no matter what you may have heard on hate radio.

ec, I'm guessing your not exactly a local and you've immigrated from some bastion of leftist thought. Today's democrat party doesn't believe in property rights or personal freedom and is working hard to control every aspect of our lives. Today's democrat party wants to shove all forms of sexual perversion (against our collective will) down our throats, or any other place. Today's democrat party wants to implement confiscatory taxes on the nations hard working producers so the moochers can get free stuff, and on and on.

The socialist dictator in chief is going around congress with unconstitutional executive orders rather thru congressional action. The vast majority of these orders wouldn't even make it out committee in the real world.

O'bummer's EPA is putting a strangle hold on commerce with hundreds of useless over burdening regulations adding greatly to the cost of doing business.

So tell me, what's democratic about today's democrat party?

Why wasn't the FBI warning on home videos good enough that now we have to have included the DHS badge? It's a super humongous agency that has everything except fighter jets and main battle tanks. Does anyone think they are going to invade Mexico to stop the flow of drugs north? Or that they will be sent overseas to quell any insurgencies, once the army has flown the Mission Accomplished banner?

Somehow this department is the opposite of your government fearing the people a little bit. Or they have turned fear into anger, and will soon be going Postal.
