March 20, 1:21 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 500 block of Mt. Hood Street. Officer assisted with information exchange.

March 20, 3:22 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 3500 block of Klindt Drive. Officer assisted with information exchange.

Oregon State Police

March 20, 4:32 p.m. – Two vehicle, injury crash, Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 136. Christopher James Fitzgerald, 41, Keizer, and Gary Samuel Anderson Jr., 60, Salem, were the involved drivers. Anderson had his semi parked along the curb in the rest area when Fitzgerald missed the exit and rear-ended Anderson. Anderson was sleeping and was thrown around in the cab. Fitzgerald sustained serious injuries and was air lifted to a hospital in Yakima. A report was taken.

March 20, 12:04 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1600 block of East 12th Street on a report of a fire alarm. While enroute, staff called to report the cause was overcooked food in the break room but they were still requested a response to reset the alarm.

March 20, 12:28 p.m. – Personnel responded to the middle school on a report of a fire alarm. No fire or smoke was observed outside or inside the school. The alarm was reset. The cause is unknown.

Personnel also responded to eight calls for emergency medical services.

The Dalles City

A second-degree burglary report was taken Wednesday morning from the 2700 block of West 2nd Street after an employee said the business was broken into overnight and had some items missing.

Police responded to the 2700 block of East 2nd Street Wednesday morning on a report of a trespassing subject. Subject was contacted and asked to leave; he was confrontational but complied.

A theft report was taken Wednesday morning from the 1100 block of West 2nd Street after an employee said an outside pop machine was broken into overnight.

Police responded to the 2900 block of East 2nd Street after observing a male subject littering. He was cited for offensive littering, after receiving his citation he walked down the middle of the road and threw it on the ground. William Joseph Flood, 43, no listed address, was arrested and is accused of offensive littering.

An identity theft report was taken Wednesday morning from the 100 block of West 7th Street.

Jeanette Eva Williams, 45, 907 Pomona St. Apt. C, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 400 block of East 3rd Place and is accused of harassment and interfering with a police officer.

A second-degree burglary report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the 1200 block of East 17th Street after a caller reported two male subjects breaking into a neighbor’s house. Caller advised the suspects noticed they were being watched and fled the area; the incident is under investigation.

Police responded to the 900 block of East 16th Place Wednesday afternoon on a report of prowlers. Caller reported seeing two male subjects in his back yard who fled when the caller confronted them.

A log number was given to a caller Wednesday afternoon after she advised she was involved in an accident a month ago and the other person involved in the accident had gone to seek medical treatment. The caller’s insurance required a log number for their bookkeeping.

Police responded to the 1800 block of East 15th Street Wednesday afternoon on a report of a found bicycle. The bicycle was impounded and a report was taken.

A telephonic harassment report was taken Wednesday evening from the 700 block of East 14th Street after a victim called to report she received a collect phone call from the regional jail where the subject made threats to her son who is also jailed; the incident is under investigation.

Police responded to the 800 block of Court Street Wednesday evening on a report of a fight. Contact was made with the subjects involved and both advised there was mutual combat. Neither wished to pursue charges. They were warned to stay away from one another.

Police responded to the 300 block of Lone Pine Drive Wednesday evening after an employee advised a male transient was in their bathroom and refused to leave. Contact was made with the subject who was trespassed from the business and left.

Police responded to the hospital Wednesday evening on a report of a subject sleeping in the waiting room for several hours. Contact was made with the subject outside the hospital and he was warned of his conduct.

Police responded to the 2700 block of West 7th Street Wednesday evening on a report of a car prowler. Caller reported seeing two male subjects around a vehicle who were attempting to break the window out. Contact was made with the two suspects inside the vehicle. The vehicle belonged to one of the subjects and no problem was found.

Police responded to the 200 block of West 6th Street early Thursday morning on a report of a domestic dispute. Contact was made with the male and female involved who advised they were having a verbal fight. Both were warned of their conduct and they advised they would sleep in separate rooms for the night.

Wasco County

Deputy responded to the 3600 block of West 13th Street Wednesday morning on a request for a welfare check. Caller advised his daughter has been missing from school and did not attend her grandmother’s funeral. Contact was made with the subject and her mother who advised she has been sick.

A criminal trespass report was taken Wednesday morning from Celilo Village after a victim reported another female subject attempted to get into her home; the incident is under investigation.

Deputy responded to the 3800 block of West 10th Street Wednesday evening on a report of a domestic disturbance. A mother and her adult son were in the laundry area having an altercation, both were intoxicated. Both were warned of their conduct and advised to separate for the evening.

Oregon State Police

Troopers responded to Celilo Village Wednesday morning on a report of a deceased subject. Reporting party advised that he came to visit his brother and when he entered the home found the subject deceased. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation. Wasco County assisted with the investigation.

Ardell Narcisse Maldonado, 28, Celilo Village No. 23, was arrested Wednesday during a traffic stop on Highway 30 and Highway 97 and is accused of providing false information to a police officer.

Sherman County

William Joseph Flood, 43, no listed address, was arrested early Thursday morning in the 91000 block of Biggs Rufus Highway and is accused of first-degree criminal trespass.

Regional Jail

Candice Bay Sahme, 26, Madras, was transported by Jefferson County and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a Sherman County warrant for probation violation.

Richard Christopher Gilchrist, 30, Longview, Wash., was transported by Columbia County and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Sherry Kathryn Everitte, 30, Portland, was transported by Clackamas County and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a Sherman County warrant for probation violation.
