OSP seeks witnesses

— Oregon State Police (OSP) is seeking witnesses related to a reckless driving arrest late Wednesday morning on Highway 26 east of Government Camp.

On March 27 at 11:09 a.m., OSP dispatch received reports of a white four-door passenger car with Oregon license plates westbound on Highway 26 near milepost 86 being operated recklessly, including near collisions and traveling on the wrong side of the highway. Some people reported being run off the road.

At 11:33 a.m., Senior Trooper Mike Holloran stopped the white 2012 Honda Civic four-door near milepost 61 about seven miles east of Government Camp. Several witnesses also stopped at the scene. Subsequent contact led to the arrest of the 27-year old driver for reckless driving.

Holloran is asking for contact from any witnesses who didn't stop at the scene to call for a statement at (541) 980-1019.
