The Dalles City

A woman in the 400 block of West Sixth Street called police Tuesday morning wondering what she could do with an overly aggressive dog. She surrendered her poodle to the animal control officer and it was lodged at the animal shelter.

A couple in the 1400 block of East 10th Street reported Tuesday afternoon their neighbor possibly killed three of their cats. The officer noted there was no proof at this time that the neighbor had done anything.

A woman in the 200 block of Washington Street reported Tuesday afternoon a male was pounding on the back door of her business, demanding to be let in. The door was locked. He was gone when police arrived. The woman said he sounded intoxicated.

A caller reported Tuesday afternoon five chihuahuas were running around loose in Howe Park nipping at people. Dog owner said fence was damaged and husband would repair it that night.

Benjamin Allen Cushman, 38, 1700 E. Ninth St., was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 900 block of Pentland Street and is accused of resisting arrest and first-degree criminal trespass.

A caller in the 800 block of East 11th Street reported a rooster was running in and out of traffic Wednesday evening. Officer reported he’d just driven through the area and did not see the rooster in the road.

A woman reported a juvenile bike rider collided with her on 10th Street Tuesday evening. The youth hit the right front of her vehicle and had minor scrapes.

Jarod Ryan Thomas, 45, 7428 Simonelli Rd., was arrested at the tribal in lieu site Tuesday evening and is accused of fourth-degree assault, domestic.

Jordan Charles Bay, 31, Gresham, was arrested in the 2700 block of West Seventh Street Tuesday evening and is accused of parole violation and felon in possession of a weapon.

Stephen Caleb Woody, 23, no address, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 300 block of Washington Street on a Hood River County warrant for failure to appear-contempt/failure to pay fines.

Wasco County

A man in the 4400 block of Highway 30 West called Tuesday afternoon to report two people just broke into his garage. William Paul Mims, 23, 4405 Hwy 30 W. Space 702, was arrested for fourth-degree assault, domestic, second-degree attempted kidnapping, second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal mischief.

A man called deputies Tuesday afternoon to report he owns the trailer in Columbia Crest Mobile Park where there was a bomb scare a few weeks ago and the possible suspect, a woman, was walking in the area of East 11th and Federal streets. An officer checked the area, but couldn’t find her.

Brian Stewart Grant, 49, 1935 Proctor Rd., Mosier, was arrested Tuesday evening at the Mark O. Hatfield Trailhead for defective lighting and was accused of driving while intoxicated and possession of more than an ounce of marijuana.

Oregon State Police

Gerardo Lugo Cabrera, 41, 1111 E. 7th St., was arrested Tuesday evening on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 78 and is accused of criminal driving while suspended/revoked and being a fugitive of ICE.

Parole and Probation

Leroy Charles Shockley Jr., 44, 919 Pomona Apt. B, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for post-prison supervision sanction.

Richard Lee David, 43, 2113 E. 12th St., was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 500 block of West Ninth Street and is accused of probation violation and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Michael Lee Powell, 29, 413 ½ W. 7th St., was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 500 block of West Ninth Street and is accused of probation violation.

Regional Jail

Stanford Webb Harvey, 46, 82610 Tygh Valley Rd., was arrested at the regional jail Tuesday morning and accused of probation violation.

Wyatt Allen New, 21, homeless, was arrested on remand from Wasco County Circuit Court Tuesday afternoon and is accused of contempt of court.

James Earl Mulvaney, 19, 806 Union St., was arrested at Columbia Crest Trailer Park Tuesday afternoon and is accused of probation violation.

Anthony Derrell Black, 26, 1515 E. 14th St., was arrested at Wasco County Circuit Court Tuesday afternoon and is accused of contempt of court (drug court).

Nathaniel Adam Sheppard, 31, Twain Harte, California, was transported to the regional jail on a Wasco County warrant for violating sanctions of post prison supervision.
