Police Reports

The Dalles City

James A. McBee, 35, 6008 Highway 30, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 3900 block of West 6th Street on a municipal court warrant for failure to appear. He is also accused of providing false information to a police officer.

Police responded to the 2700 block of West 7th Street Wednesday morning after a caller reported a juvenile subject was shot with a bb gun by two other juveniles. Investigation discovered the victim was shot with an airsoft gun and the mother of the victim only wanted the suspects counseled, which was done.

An informational report was taken Wednesday morning from the high school after administrators pulled a student from class after he appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants. Subject acknowledged he was given a pill by another student and took it. The incident is under investigation.

An identity theft report was taken Wednesday morning from the 3200 block of West 7th Street.

Police responded to the 100 block of West 7th Street Wednesday morning on a report of a dispute. Contact was made with the subjects involved, who advised they were having a verbal dispute over a deceased subject’s property. They were advised the situation was civil and to keep the peace.

A dog bite report was taken Wednesday morning in the 800 block of Hostetler Way.

William Reinholdt Lorenz Niemeier, 54, 833 Pomona St. Unit A, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in his home on a Multnomah County warrant for parole violation.

Larry Duane Davis, 54, 1416 East 12th St., was arrested Wednesday afternoon during a traffic stop in the 2300 block of East 12th Street on two circuit court warrants for failure to appear.

Police cited a juvenile subject for riding a skateboard down a street Wednesday afternoon near West 10th and Dry Hollow streets. A report was taken.

A found property report was taken Wednesday evening after a firearm was found in a restroom in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street. The property was seized for safekeeping.

A woman reported a full-size fox following her and barking while she walked her German shepherd Wednesday evening. She reported she scared it away, but the animal was spotted again four times dodging in and out of traffic.

A burglary report was taken Wednesday evening from the 1300 block of East 9th Street after a victim reported their home was entered while working and items in the home were astray.

Police responded to the 500 block of Liberty Street Wednesday evening on an attempt to locate a wanted subject. Suspect was spotted and fled the area when he saw police. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Police responded to the 1000 block of West 6th Street early Thursday morning on a report of a dispute. Contact was made with the subjects involved who advised they got into a dispute over splitting a bill for food; they were warned of their conduct.

Wasco County

Deputy responded to the 700 block of East 14th Street Wednesday afternoon to assist a probation officer in detaining a suspect that fled from him.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited and released for driving uninsured during a traffic stop Wednesday morning on West 10th and Cherry Heights streets; the vehicle was impounded.

A male driver was cited and released for driving while suspended and driving uninsured Wednesday evening on Highway 197 and Brett Clodfelter Way; the vehicle was impounded.

Regional Jail

Raymond Aaron Stenson, 21, Enderlin, North Dakota, was jailed Wednesday on a Sherman County court commitment for unlawful possession of marijuana.

Scott Carlyle Ekman, 28, North Bonneville, was jailed Wednesday on a Sherman County warrant for parole violation.

Parole and Probation

Tanner Sinclair Carrico, 37, no listed address, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 1400 block of East 19th Street and is accused of probation violation.

James Edward Wham, 26, 722 East 14th St., was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 700 block of East 14th Street on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.
