Oregon State Police

May 9, 7:15 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury accident, Interstate 84 near Exit 82 westbound. Drivers Stephen Funk, 44, Stevenson and Israel Urenda-Lopez, 31, had conflicting stories about what happened. A report was taken and the crash is under investigation.

The Dalles City

Police responded to the 200 block of East 10th Street Thursday morning on a report a large group of juveniles were harassing a man in the area. Contact was made with the man and juveniles. The juveniles were upset the subject was taking photos of them littering and loitering. Parties were warned of their conduct and separated.

A restraining order violation report was taken Thursday afternoon from the 2900 block of Old Dufur Road after a victim reported a male subject continues to contact her after having a no contact order served; the incident is under investigation.

A veterans’ home resident reported a theft of items from a room Thursday afternoon.

Police responded to the 1300 block of Jefferson Street Thursday afternoon on a report of a domestic dispute. Contact was made with a male subject who advised his roommate was having a hallucination on drugs. A family member took the subject to the hospital for treatment.

A theft report was taken Thursday afternoon from the 1200 block of West 6th Street after an employee reported a female shoplifter in custody. She was given a few hours to return the merchandise.

An informational report was taken Thursday afternoon from the 800 block of East 13th Street after a caller reported they wanted a male subject trespassed from the property. Caller was informed that the situation was civil due to them letting the suspect stay there. A search of the suspect’s room yielded drugs and the incident is under investigation.

A police officer’s hold report was taken Thursday evening from the hospital after a patient was threating to harm herself.

A found bicycle report was taken Thursday evening from the 1700 block of West 6th Street; the property was taken to impound.

Police responded to the 300 block of West 10th Street Thursday evening on a report of a domestic dispute. Contact was made with the subjects, a father and adult son. The son advised his father and he were involved in a verbal argument and the father raised his cane and chased him through the house. Both subjects separated for the remainder of the evening and both were warned of their conduct.

Wasco County

Deputies responded to the 1000 Block of Irvine Street Thursday morning on a report of an assault. Victim was uncooperative but deputies noticed possible marks and bruising from an altercation. The other subject involved was not available for contact. The incident is under investigation.

An illegal dumping report was taken Thursday afternoon near the Rowena loops after a caller spotted a dump site off the road.

Katherine Laverene Nolasco, 36, 2324 East 10th St., was arrested Thursday evening during a traffic stop in the 3100 block of Fremont Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Regional Jail

Dustin Clyde Olson, 25, Tygh Valley, was booked and released on a circuit court commitment for probation violation.

Parole and Probation

David Jaafe Wentworth, 21, no listed address, was arrested Thursday morning in the 4400 block of Highway 30 and is accused of probation violation.
