Butterfly group meets in Goldendale

The Washington Butterfly Association hosts its annual conference May 31 to June 2 in Goldendale. Participants can expect to see butterflies not common in the rest of the state, including the large, black Indra Swallowtail and the Propertius Duskywing.

Conference field trips will visit varied habitats. Noted Naturalist Dr. Robert Michael Pyle will participate in the field trips. Membership is not required to register for the whole weekend or for a single event. More information online.
